This place is really special. We felt at home straight away and our little dog did too! It was comfortable and clean, equipped with everything you could need. It feels like it was once a loved home. Minutes from the beach and really nice restaurants, pier etc. Perfect communication from Maureen. We had a great time and would love to go back soon.

We had a lovely weekend at Walton on the Naze. The apartment is extremely clean, cosy and homely. The location is excellent, close to the beach and High Street.

Had a lovely few days at the Crows nest, would highly recommend, the location was great for restaurants and shops. We couldn’t fault the apartment it had every thing we needed, very comfortable would definitely like to return

The accommodation was amazing to stay as a family! Plenty of space, clean and tidy! Everything was exactly as in the description. Treats in the fridge were a nice surprise as well!!! Joanna was so responsive and helpful. We will definitely recommend the apartment to our friends and come back ourselves next time we are in Ipswich. 🥰

Fantastic stay, was just what I needed. So peaceful, lots of birds singing when o sat outside and had dinner. Beautiful sunset. Great space to sit and read/write too. Grateful for the information about the local village - I enjoyed the local Chinese food! Also a really nice walk from the local sailing club to a nearby marina. Would stay here again, thanks Anne.

Julia’s place is a lovely find, so nice and quiet in beautiful surroundings. The apartment was plenty big enough for 4 of us using the sofa bed. Nice and clean with a well equipped kitchen. Julia was great at communicating all throughout and was very accommodating when we had to change dates. We will definitely be back again when we next visit family in the area.

We had a wonderful time, the House was immaculate. Talking to Graham was very straight forward and easy. The house and grounds are in a beautiful setting. My wife and daughter used the pool most evenings. I would highly recommend staying at Blyth view!

We had a great time at T&T’s which we used as a base to catch up with family who live locally. Host was super responsive to the queries we had in advance of our stay. We used some of the local recommendations (restaurants and beaches) which were great. In a nutshell, a lovely home - stylish, cosy and comfortable, we would definitely stay again.

Stayed over the Easter weekend. Clear instructions on how to find it & get inside. We had 2 cars so parked 1 in the secure gated area which was a real benefit, the other car on the street. There was always space available in the road but not always directly outside the house. The house is on 3 floors with big spacious bedrooms & a seaview from the rear rooms. Exceptionally comfy beds & good quality bed linen & towels. A well equipped kitchen & a good stock of board games in the living room which we had fun using each evening. Other houses in the street had a wheelie bin but I couldn’t find ours so sorry, we couldn’t empty the bins as we normally would when vacating a property. 1 thing I would add to the top floor bedroom would be a comfy chair, there’s space for 1 & it would be a nice place to sit & read. The house is next to a trainline but right at the end of the line so no noise at all. Harwich is small & seemed very quiet. A few shops, pubs & restaurants easy walking distance away.

This not not the first time we have stayed here, which is a recommendation in itself. We did have a problem with the television but our hosts did all they could to sort it while we were there, and the remaining issue they will very probably have sorted by the time the next guest arrives. It was not significant enough to affect us in any significant way.

a lovely location and property. Great it has a car charging point. Worked really well for our disabled friend. really well equipped, even included doves for cooking! brilliant utility / drying room. At checkin Caroline, the owner, was worried about car noise from the road, we weren't. it was not an issue for us and she says the road is soon to be closed from one end anyway. Lovely log burner, house got too warm!! All in all a lovely experience, would go again

We had a wondeful time at the House in the Clouds. It was a great place for a family celebration and none of us could really believe we were staying in such an iconic building and one we had looked at since the 1970's. Such an amazing place for a family reunion and all the children who visited during the weekend (thye were staying in other houses in Thorpeness) had a brilliant time too. There is so much for them to do in the house and garden. The kitchen was really well equipped and we cooked meals for the 10 of us actually staying in the house. Thoroughly reccomend this unique experience.

Beautiful place in a beautiful location. Perfect stay, house is gorgeous, very clean & has everything you need. Great welcome pack and lovely touch leaving a bottle of Prosecco. Great hosts! Awesome location… Lots to do within walking distance, for adults and children. Would definitely love to come back, and highly recommend.

Absolutely perfect stay in a beautiful area. The house was spotless and even bigger than the photos show! It was perfect for 4 adults and my 16 month old daughter. Stuart sent great instructions through and loads of information about the local area, although we actually loved the house and grounds so much that we didn’t venture any further - we had a lovely few relaxing days in the house and walks around the woodland. My daughter even got to feed the goats. Will definitely come back, and will do a summer visit too as the pool looked beautiful.

What a fantastic stay! Kim was very communicative in the booking and check in process. The flat was spotless on arrival and she had left lots of treats for the stay with coffee/tea/condiments/spices. It felt just like a home away from home. The location was fantastic for walking everywhere as it's so close to the train station. I would give it more than 5 stars if I could!

The photos cannot convey how secluded and beautiful the setting is - with the houses set among mature trees of a former arboretum. Guests are welcome to enjoy Paul and Esther's lovely garden. The annexe is entirely self-contained. Esther is an exceptionally friendly and helpful host.

We had a lovely weekend getaway at Tim’s place. I booked it very last minute and he was quick to get all the information to me to ensure a smooth entrance to the property. The flat itself is right on the beach with gorgeous views for your morning coffee! The flat is quiet and cosy and has everything you need for a relaxing trip. Thanks guys!

This was our 5th new year staying at Maddies Flat, and as always we had an amazing time. The accommodation is perfect, and the welcome items on arrival; butter, milk, bread and eggs is a special touch, along with jam and tea and coffee. Definitely recommend the Kings Head, which is walkable from Maddies. The apartment is clean, spacious, luxurious and we always feel at home as soon as we arrive. Hope to be back next year.

I stayed in Myles’ flat for 7 weeks as a student at the hospital and it was everything I could have asked for! Super easy check-in / check-out, really good comms throughout, really quiet area, no noise disruption despite being on ground floor and felt really safe living there alone. The flat itself was pristine, well-equipped kitchen, good wardrobe/storage space and has a nice cozy vibe - feels very private. Within 5 minute walk of a big tesco, good bus routes - generally really good location. Thank you Myles!!
