Beautiful little house and extremely convenient to Asheville / I-26, worked perfectly as a home base while we were in town for an music festival in the city. The house itself is very new and neat as a pin, quite comfortable for our weekend stay and surrounded by rolling hills of old farmland. We were greeted each morning by deer in the front yard, and enjoyed stargazing under the sycamores every clear evening. One thing to note: although the property itself feels rural, it is very close to a truck stop and the highway, so it's not always peaceful outside; we didn't really mind but something to note for guests who prefer seclusion and solitude. Inside, however, is cozy and well-appointed, with comfy linens and lots of windows to take in the views. We loved the dormer window with views of the nearby mountains that looked like a painting! Would definitely stay here again, especially with the easy 20ish minute drive to Asheville.

This was our second time staying at Black Bear Cottage and it was just as wonderful the second time! Our kids played for hours in the creek, we were comfortable in the cabin and close to all the fun things we wanted to do - hiking and the Biltmore and a day trip to Dollywood! Thanks for a great stay!

Beautiful memorable experiences were engraved in my memory on this picture perfect property! It all started as a relaxing getaway for my husband and I... Then, as we walked thru the door at Jewel in the Skye, our 5 day stay became a most perfect and beautiful experience! Julie goes above and beyond hosting a perfect stay in this amazing cabin. No need nor want goes un-noticed. Thank you, we will surely visit again! PS- Thank you for the lovely welcome basket and for all your thoughtful and accomodating little surprises left around the house.

We had a great time at Alexey’s place. It’s a beautiful house that’s located close to Biltmore and downtown Asheville.

My husband and I stayed at Terry’s place while we explored the blue ridge area. It was the perfect location. The place is exactly as described. Terry’s home is warm and welcoming, has all the amenities and comforts from home. She has put a lot of thought into the home and special touches to make her guests feel welcomed. I had a great stay/experience. Me and my crew needed a place to stay and they got us in with no problem at such late timing on my part. The home is in a beautiful peaceful location, it was very clean and felt like home. I will be looking forward staying here again in the near future!

Amazing Stay! Highly Recommend! We had an incredible time at this House.The house was exactly as described—spacious, cozy, and beautifully decorated. The host was welcoming and made sure we had everything we needed for a smooth check-in. The location was perfect, offering both peace and privacy while being close to local attractions and restaurants. The beds were extremely comfortable, and the kitchen had all the essentials we needed to prepare meals. We especially loved the outdoor space, perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring. My husband and I really enjoyed ourselves stayed. we loved the view, enjoyed watching the neighbors animals , the hot tub was amazing with a lovely view. The space was perfect for us. the host was great. we will book again anytime we won't to come to the area. we normally hike and go shopping or check out the town/ city...we never left the property. we will explore next time, but we were so comfortable. We definitely got to relax. book this place...you WONT be disappointed!
