My son and I just spent four days at Gracie's cabin in La Honda, and it surpassed all expectations. The setting is stunning and incredibly peaceful, nestled among trees and ferns. The cabin was spotless and impeccably maintained. While we didn't spend much time cooking, the kitchen was stocked with all the necessary appliances and plenty of snacks. Gracie was prompt and effective in her communication. I would absolutely choose to stay here again on my next visit to the area.

We had a great weekend at Emkay’s cabin! Loved the peace and quiet, the fact that our dog was welcomed, and the hot tub was an added bonus! Perfect place to stay for what we needed. Emkay was very responsive and friendly and made us feel very welcome.

The place is compact, but had everything we needed. The location is lovely and private in a beautiful backyard garden. The weather was chilly during our stay, so we didn't take advantage of the outdoor table and chairs and hot tub, but they would be great in warmer weather! Nikole was very responsive and easy to work with.

Emkay was a responsive, attentive, and caring host. He responded kindly to our many questions and provided us with extra blankets, a lantern (it can get pretty dark at night), a hair dryer, and welcomed us to use his private home's yard for our dog's potty breaks (we did not end up using it, but we appreciated his thoughtfulness). The property is interesting and grows on you after a night or two as it has many interesting features (creek-side chairs, tall sequoia trees, a hot tub, a hummingbird feeder). The cabin is rather small and gets chilly in the night but the quaint decorations, quiet nights, and towering trees create a unique atmosphere and experience.

We have a lovely stay and enjoyed the quiet and private creek area in the backyard. Inside the studio was nicely decorated, very clean and had all the amenities we needed for a short weekend stay.

This place was an amazing spot for a friendly getaway with 8 guys. We went up there for access to nature, hiking, and just getting away from it all and this place was amazing. From the amenities to the fully stocked kitchen, it was perfect. The upstairs shower was also AMAZING. Weird thing to put in to a review, but I'll admit I looked forward to that shower every day that we were there. All in all, the space was modern, very comfortable, and was exactly what we wanted. The ONLY thing I would be wary of is the road leading up to the house. It gets a little treacherous and I was happy to have had Bronco and a Wrangler with us, but we did have a Chevy Volt and it made it up to the location with no problem. So definitely possible, but having some more climbing power would be advised. Otherwise, it was AMAZING! Thinking about when I can stay there again.

This might be my favorite rental house ever. It's beautiful, super clean and accommodating, lovely tree views out every window and the rental agency helped us out with early check in which made our trip feel so much longer. We may make this an annual trip.

Really enjoyed our stay at the Coach House! If you’re looking for somewhere peaceful and out of the ordinary for a weekend getaway- this is the place. Toni had clear and thoughtful instructions, both on the app and inside the cabin. I’d recommend checking in during the daytime if it’s your first time on highway 17. Thankfully it wasn’t our first rodeo and we were able to find the place at night without too much trouble. There’s a lot to explore around the property, including horses, goats, wild deer, etc. I’d recommend to anyone that wanted to stay near the Santa Cruz/Los Gators area! :)

Amazing, peaceful and serene!! We felt right at home. Breathtaking piece of land!! Rooms were perfect for our family and beds were very comfortable. Weather was cold but bedding kept us warm. The radiant floors and space heater kept the downstairs comfortable. We loved keeping the fire going while it rained all day. Truly and restful stay.

Came to Brooke's cabin as a much needed respite from a remodeling project. Intentionally I had planned to stay a week but because this darling cabin was exactly what I needed, that week turned into a month! The space was modern and comfortable. I especially enjoyed the large front deck. The huge surrounding Redwoods provide a view through every window and lots of privacy. I couldnt have asked for a better host; if I was in need of anything,Brooke was quick to respond with consideration and kindness. Because my companion in all this was my 9mo old Corgi, I also appreciated that the entirety of the property is fenced. If you're thinking of visiting our incredible Redwoods in N. Ca., Brooke's space is a perfect option: inviting, peaceful, quiet and central to everything to do and see in the area.Although back in my own home again, I will actually miss Brooke's sweet cabin in the woods-it became my home away from home.

The place is beautiful and extremely peaceful, but the highlight of the stay was Mary. She's so sweet and down to earth. She was more than accommodating and I wish all my future hosts are as great as she is.

Lola is an amazing guest and the house is great getaway with beautiful green surroundings. My dog has the best time running around in 1acre of fenced backyard. Thank you for making our stay great every time

Really enjoyed our stay!

The Cabin was incredible! Breathtaking views and fully stocked game room for kids and those young at heart. The bedrooms had good quality beds and linen. The bathroom was clean and modern with a large quantity of towels. The kitchen had everything we needed and we were able to cook delicious meals. Ernesto was proactive in communicating and alerted us when we accidentally turned off the timed lights outside. Our family of 12 had memorable moments in The Cabin during our stay in the Fall, and we recommend it to anyone wanting to have the ‘cabin in the woods’ experience.

The Cottage under the Redwoods was wonderfully clean and cozy. The hosts are terrific. It is my favorite place to stay when I am away from home.

This place is beautiful! I plan to come back. Also, I slept like a baby. I really like how I could hear water running from the nearby river.

Such an exquisite setting! We loved the cabin for our family of four. We can t wait to go back when we visit our UCSC student!!

We loved staying here! There were lots of toys and bedding for our baby girl. There was a lot that was included when we got there like snacks. Great place!

Our second stay at Fern Cottage was as wonderful— if not moreso— than the first. Kathleen was accommodating and responsive, and had such sweet amenities for us and our infant! Lovely surroundings, peaceful home and a much-needed respite from city life (yet close enough to busier areas for day trips and the like!).

It was perfect! Everything as described so comfortable! My granddaughter begged to come over as it was so beautiful. Then told her Dad he had to see it as is was so beautiful! Living room very roomy, we played board game plenty of space. Bathroom was clean nicely decorated. The bath mat is very soft and warm Bedroom had a nice desk closet large. Best was the bed was actually comfortable. I give Rajesh’s home 5 stars for getting this right! New appliances through out it was like a home in a magazine. First time I stayed at a place with so much comfort. We will definitely go back when we are traveling to see our family.

Great location near many amazing hiking trails! Could be improved with a coffee maker, otherwise had everything else needed.
