The steps to the apartment from our parked car were as described. They are super steep & narrow. Not for kids, or if you need to push a push chair. Not for anyone with mobility issue. Apartment is super clean and tidy. Please be aware that this is a place surrounded by forests. You’ll get insects and slugs in the apartment which freaked my city son out haha. I think it’s because it’s summer as well. So if you’re like my son - might not be a place for you lol Really easy to walk into Lynton with nice cafes and restaurants. There’s only one tiny supermarket in Lynton so bring plenty of supplies. Kitchen is equipped with a kettle, hob, toaster and oven. A microwave would be handy. Bring your own oil etc if you’re staying longer and plan to cook. Bring your own toiletries although handwash & toilet rolls are generously provided. I think this place used to be a bed & breakfast as all the rooms in the Penthouse have numbers on the doors. Very quaint and cute.

There is little to say except that everything was as it should be and Susan was an excellent host. She even províded urgent meds for a tummy upset. Thank you Susan.

Just got back from a fantastic few days in Woolacombe. Apartment was fab, clean and tidy with everything you could possibly need including buckets and spades for the kids (huge hit) Location could not have been any closer to the beach. Views were insane. Can not fault Chris the host. Very helpful and easy to get hold of. Overall would 100% recommend and we are all looking forward to returning again in the future

Fantastic place to stay. A real home from home and flat has everything you need. Fabulous views from flat. Location great and lots to do in and around Ilfracombe. We walked over hill to Hele bay, tunnels beach, harbour side, woolacombe, Barnstaple etc as we only had Thursday to Sunday sadly but weather was quite sunny thankfully. Would definitely recommend and go back to stay here but be warned v steep and hilly in Ilfracombe so not for the faint hearted 😊would definitely recommend the food at the Thatched Inn and very friendly. We had an excellent stay at Emma’s place, slightly biased because of gorgeous weather! Her instructions to locate the property were clear, helpful and needed, as it’s not easy to find otherwise. The Snug is very comfortable and surprisingly well equipped for a small apartment especially the kitchen. It is also nicely decorated and furnished, jaunty seaside vibe? We parked close by after 6 when it’s free and generally departed for the day before 10 when it’s paid parking. Small tip, if planning a day trip to Lundy as we did (and would recommend!) take your car to the long stay car park nearby where it costs £3.50 for a full day and then it’s a 10 min walk to the jetty for the ferry. The Snug is within easy walking distance of the town centre. All in all, highly recommended for either a solo traveler or a couple.

We had a fantastic stay. The location is perfect & the views are amazing. Larkstone is a beautiful home, very spacious, well equipped & fabulously furnished - we would definitely stay again. Our 4 & 6 year were devastated to be leaving.

A relaxing few days away spent in Caroline’s annex. A 15 min walk to the coast and the delicious fish and chip shop! Caroline’s home baked scones and biscuits were a lovely treat and the extras in the fridge provided us with breakfast on the first morning - no need to rush to the shops.

Andrew is the perfect host, very responsive and accommodating to our requests. The apartment is beautiful, clean and fabulous interiors. We have had the perfect week and cannot wait to come back later in the year.

What a special place this is. Me and my sister wanted to stay near the harbour as we know the area well, and Julie's apartment was perfect. It has the most wonderful views of the sea from the lounge and kitchen, plus the spectacular coastline from the balcony. As an added bonus the bedrooms look out over the town and harbour. We felt right at home as soon as we walked in and the apartment has everything you need - and some! It's warm, cosy and very clean; also so peaceful and relaxing to be able to sit and just watch the sea. Even though it wasn't warm enough for us to sit out on the balcony, we could still enjoy the amazing views. On the first night we enjoyed our fish and chips from nearby Maddy's and had a lovely meal in Santiago's the second night, which is also close by. It was very difficult to tear ourselves away after our long weekend!

Gorgeous apartment, outstanding views, spotless, very comfy bed and the Christmas tree and hamper was a lovely touch xx

Tom and Nicki's apartment was fabulous, well equipped and with the most fantastic view. Tom and Nicki were easy to contact and made sure we had everything we could possibly want for a relaxing stress free stay. We would love to come back again.

Had a fantastic time at the Neet. It really was a perfect place to stay especially if you are visiting Bude. We brought our 2 dogs and the garden was a great place for them to stretch their legs, fully enclosed and huge. On arrival, Lisa met us and explained everything, we also had fresh eggs and scones. The place was spotless, cosy and had everything you need from an Airbnb. Highly recommended !

Lovely apartment with edgy decor which was loved by all of the guests. Big sized bedrooms and 2 separate restrooms. Kitchen well equipped. Nice touches included flowers and a hamper of goodies. You are only a few minutes walk from the main area of Westward Ho! The only frustrating thing was the cleaner must have switched every electrical item which meant it took some time to figure out how to work the oven and had to bother Rose to re-set the fire stick

We had the best night staying in this beautiful beach apartment. Will 100% be back soon!

We spent the Easter Break in Croyde and it was awesome. While our daughter did surf lessons, we took off on beautiful trails along the coast, which is stunning. Chantal's flat was perfectly located, we walked to the pubs and had good access to the rest of the coast. Lovely flat and we were able to take our poodle as well.

A lovely place to stay! The flat is beautifully done, Katie was really helpful with giving instructions and responding to questions and the kitchen had everything I needed. It was lovely to sit on the balcony and listen to the birdsong and Combe Martin was a lovely village to stay in. Recommend!

Really great place for a vacation, either a short or a longer break. Stunning place and very well cared for, with really comfortable and spacious accommodation, and nice common areas, especially for families. Very peaceful. The pool/jacuzzi/sauna are great, although a bit busy at times (as expected). Nice bar/play room with games for when the weather is not so great. Shame that the restaurant was closed for renovations at the time, but that was expected as it was mentioned in the listing. Area around is served by plenty and really nice, traditional pubs with good food and drink. Great experience, overall!

Very clean, and spacious. The location was perfect for us and we loved the swimming and games room. The staff was also really helpful whenever we needed anything.

Our stay at Gemma's apartment was incredible! The furnishings were virtually brand new, and the place was spotless. Gemma was really helpful all the way from booking through to the check out! The location is very secluded and peaceful, but only 5 minutes from the local town. Thanks again!

The arrival was easy & property was easy to find. We went in low season so parking & going between the car park & house was simple. We arrived before 3 so the kids played in the little area for a bit. When we got in the house it was chilly, but the weather of late has been freezing wo no wonder. It took a few hours to warm up the house but we took slippers & simply kept our jumpers on. The kitchen was just fine for a holiday home. Vicky's communication before the trip was second to none! She contacted me not long after I'd booked to let me know the on-site facilities (pool, bar etc) wasn't open out of season in case I hadn't read it in her description. I'm really familiar with the area and know there's plenty to do in the area it wasn't a problem. To be honest, if all you did was use on the on-site pool, you'd miss out on SO much! Finally, I cannot express more the kindness of Vicky. We had car troubles as we were about to leave & she let us go back in while we waited for RAC. Amazing!
