Highly recommended property. Lorraine was on hand if needed but very respectful of our privacy. The house is wonderful - great collection of surfboards and regalia. More than expected chocolate, wine and treats provided and a very peaceful place with stunning views.

We had a great stay! The apartment was clean and very spacious. The view was amazing.

I had a wonderful 3-night stay at Helen's place! It was everything I needed and more. Helen’s kindness and thoughtfulness truly made me feel right at home. From the delicious treats she provided to having access to all TV streaming services, every detail was carefully considered to ensure my stay was perfect.

Beautifully presented accommodation, perfect for a quite beach getaway. Location overlooking the sand dunes and surf was magical. We were able to walk everywhere…. Wooli Wooli Cafe for great coffee, the bowls club for yummy Chinese dinner and the Wooli Boat hire for a couple of hours cruising Wooli Wooli River. We felt very at home in your gorgeous beach getaway Sally. We look forward to visiting again soon.

Thank you Ned and Simone for your lovely hospitality. You have a beautiful place that fit us all perfectly and the view is absolutely stunning. Whilst we only visited for a long weekend, the unit and location had all you need for a longer term stay. The onsite pool and beach access was great, plus we enjoyed that Sapphire Beach was only a short drive away. Such a gem of a spot was only made better by the thoughtful hosts. You were responsive and friendly, gave great instructions, and seem like lovely people. Thanks for having us in your home.

We booked last minute at this place, and Michelle was quick to reply and accept the booking. We felt very look after, and the place was very clean, and a great place to stay. Close to the beach and town, we loved staying here.

Everything was as described. Easy to deal with host. Clean and functional rooms. Beautiful view.

We had a fantastic 3 night stay at Tideview. It's a great location to enjoy all of Iluka. We got unlucky with the weather which meant the table tennis table saw plenty of action! Definitely a place I'll be recommending to people and will come back to. Thank you Kylie

What a wonderful home away from home. And couldn't ask for a better location! Walked everywhere, kids played with the provided boogie boards, and watched the sunrise over Sawty Beach every morning from the private trail out the back gate. Really appreciated the outdoor shower (with hot and cold water!) and the air con on those sticky humid days (although they don't stay on overnight since they're programmed to turn off after 3hrs). No beach towels are provided, so make sure you pack some or be prepared to buy some. Great stay and will definitely come back for another beach holiday 😎

This was our fourth stay at Misty River Lodge and won’t be our last. My family, including our little Jack Russell Terrier, loves Helen and Craig’s place. I especially love seeing how the gardens have evolved. We enjoy visiting the beaches up and down the coast — Scotts Head is a favourite — and we love to find new places to eat. Coffs Harbour is only a 45 minute drive north and South West Rocks is just 30 minutes south, so it’s a really central location and close to the highway but so quiet and peaceful. The bird song is relaxing and if you’re an early riser, you might even see the local swamp wallaby down near the creek. We were treated to fresh quail eggs, deliciously sweet tomatoes and tasty vegetables from the garden. As Helen said when we arrived… “Welcome home!” … because it does feel like a home away from home.

I stayed here with 7 other mates for a birthday getaway, and this is by FAR one of the best airBNB's we have stayed in. we are a massive fishing, camping & boating group, so the location was perfect! Definetly a lot more quiet than the Gold Coast which was a wonderful change. the place itself had so many things for use! from many seasonings, to cleaning equipment and board games - so well equipped. i highly recommend staying here with a group of mates, or families of ANY age!

Jodie has a great house situated at the very end of a Water Ski Lodge. While the location is about 20mins out of town the views and privacy are well worth any inconvenience. We were a group of 9 adults and found the house perfect for our needs. Its a very well maintained property with manicured gardens and very tasteful appointments inside. Lots of parking room for multiple vehicles and boats. The pool table and Gazebo were used each night & is a great place to relax. Lots of friendly wildlife around including water dragons, green tree frogs and a variety of birds. Highly recommend.

The property itself was exactly as described. It was immaculately clean, cozy, and beautifully decorated. The little details, like fresh towels, tea & coffee plus snacks, made all the difference. We especially appreciated the quiet and peaceful atmosphere – it was the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle.

Our stay at Marcus' beautiful home was fantastic. It is an incredible spot right on the river, with the most beautiful breezes and views. We loved sitting on the deck and watching the fish jumping, the lizards scampering about and beautiful and varied birdlife. The house is beautiful, very comfortable and had everything we needed. Marcus' home was a great base for us to relax, and explore from. Lawrence is a lovely little town, the people are all incredibly friendly, the park is awesome for kids. The General Store really has everything we needed during your stay, at very reasonable prices, they also have coffee and take home sourdough loaves at their cafe. The Lawrence Tavern has great pub meals, fantastic specials and is an excellent family venue. We would absolutely love to come back to Lawrence and stay again in Marcus' home. Marcus was an excellent host and made us feel very welcome. Thank you for having us Marcus!

We enjoyed our week at the beach "shack". The house was comfortable, and I used the day bed on the front verandah every day. We didn't use the deck or BBQ as it was a bit cool. The kitchen made it easy to do our own meals, as the takeaway closes very early and you can only eat at the bowls club so many times (great food though if you like Turkish). We loved the location across from the estuary, close to the shop and walking tracks. Red Rock is a peaceful and beautiful location. The only issue was one bar of cell coverage inside the house, which didn't always provide enough internet to be useful, although it was solved by sitting on the back step - great if you want to disconnect, but I wouldn't plan on doing any real work on a laptop. We'd stay again for sure and can highly recommend it.
