This is lovely family home in lovely Dutch country village, Broek in Waterland, just a short drive or bus connection from Amsterdam. The house was under partial renovation (which the owners warned me for) when I was there for ten days this summer, but the fully-equipped kitchen, the spacious living room, and the amazing view from the garden on water and fields really made the stay very enjoyable. My friends loved the art, the books and general vibe of the house. Maartje and Maarten were excellent and very relaxed hosts who showed me around the house before they left on vacation. Oh and private parking is also a plus. Highly recommended.

C'est une maison familiale très agréable pour des vacances en famille à 20 kilomètres d'Amsterdam et tout proche des sites touristiques de Marken, Volendam et Monnickendam. La maison est chaleureuse et tout équipée spécialement avec des enfants peu âgés. Rosa nous a accueillie avec gentillesse et nous a délivrée toutes les informations utiles à notre séjour. Je recommande.

Leontien’s family home was our refuge for our stay! After full days of exploration we found everything we needed : a clean comfortable home, a lovely yard, a fully equipped kitchen and a peaceful neighborhood where to have a restful night. Access to Amsterdam was easy by a quick inexpensive bus ride (do make sure to get a chip card for travel as the Landsmeer bus is not covered by the basic Amsterdam day tickets.) As for biking, you’re right there in the wonderful countryside side, about 60 minutes away from Zaanse Schans. We also enjoyed having the grocery store and bakery so close to the home. We had a great time.

Je recommande fortement ce logement. La bâtisse est sublime, extrêmement confortable et agréable. Notre hôte a été très sympathique, et nous a donné de nombreux conseils fort utiles aussi bien pour la maison que pour la découverte des environs.

We loved staying at Evaline’s home and are so grateful she allowed our family to use their space. The home is beautiful, spacious, and perfect for a family vacation! Their two cats Zorro and Nacho were so sweet and we enjoyed cuddling with them as we drank our tea each night before bed. We look forward to visiting the Netherlands again and hopefully staying at Evaline’s to visit zorro and nacho :)

Een mooie rustige locatie waarbij de woning toch dicht in de buurt ligt van Amsterdam centrum. We werden zeer vriendelijk ontvangen met een vers kop koffie. De energie in het huis vinden wij heel belangrijk en die was zeker goed ✨ het tuinhuis is mooi en creatief ingericht. Wij voelden ons in iedergeval welkom en dat is wat je wilt!

Sehr schöner Aufenthalt. Das Haus ist sehr gemütlich eingerichtet und mit dem Bus ist man schnell im Zentrum. Mein Highlight war der Ofen im Wohnzimmer :)

The first thing I have to say is Sophie and Pieter are clearly lovely people. We were late because of traffic but Sophie waited for us and gave a warm and very helpful welcome. Secondly, the apartment is a real home from home. The kitchen has all the equipment you need if you want to dine at home. Throughout the apartment everything was clean and functional as well as being well designed and attractive. Thirdly, the location is excellent. The tram runs regularly on the Overtoom and gets you right into the centre in 20 easy minutes. On the other side is the Vondelpark, which is a slice of real Amsterdam that many people would miss, which is a shame as it’s fantastic. The bar run by the brewery was a real find for us. Around you are a number of excellent places to eat and drink on both sides of the park and into the centre. Finally I am going to return to Sophie and Pieter - honestly you could not get better hosts. Thank you very much - we intend to return.

Liebe Sonja, Meine Freundin und ich hatten eine unglaublich schöne Zeit im Polder-Paradies. Der Name trifft es perfekt ! Eine so schöne Gegend und ein super gemütliches, schönes Haus! Entspannung pur mitten in der Natur. Wir können es jedem uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen und würden auch sehr gerne wieder kommen. Vielen Dank für die schöne Zeit und die tollen Erinnerungen. We spent an amazing 4 days in the apartment celebrating my mother’s 80th birthday. Everyone loved the apartment, the views are to die for, great amenities, high quality furniture and plenty of spaces to sit and relax, even in winter. Would love to come back!

Astonishing location, amazing hosts- welcoming, friendly, provided excellent hospitality, helpful ( our flights got messed up and theodora was very understanding), the place itself is just unreal, clean, tidy, unreal views. Easy check in and out, seriously couldn’t fault it at all, one of the nicest places I’ve ever stayed in! :))

We had a fabulous stay at Otto’s and would definitely recommend. His home is very clean & comfortable and has everything needed for a long weekend. The neighbourhood is quite with lots of great bars and cafes by the water. Thanks again for the wine & chocolates!

Wir haben hier zu dritt übernachtet vor einer Sportveranstaltung. Es war alles so wie beschrieben. Gut eingerichtet, gepflegt, sauber. Wir waren sehr zufrieden!

Чистая уютная квартира в прекрасном месте. Есть все необходимое для комфортного проживания. Хозяйка очень приветливая, заранее организовала парковочное место для нашей машины. Рекомендую!

Logement spacieux avec grand jardin, tres bien situé, idéal pour 2 familles avec enfants. Accès à Amsterdam facile par train. Daphne a toujours été très réactive pour nos demandes.

Wir waren super zufrieden. Die Lage ist einfach nur perfekt. Die Gastgeber waren immer sofort erreichbar und super freundlich! Immer gerne wieder.

My family and I as well as our friends spent some great days at Marius’ beautiful house! It was very clean, the kitchen was well equipped and the beds were comfortable. We loved to wake up having an amazing view to the sea. We enjoyed to discover Enkhuizen by feet. There were some restaurants around with very delicious meals. The very close train station with a direct connection to Amsterdam is a big plus. Thank you Marius for welcoming us so nice and friendly as well as for all the recommendations in and around Enkhuizen! Staying at yours is a 100 % recommendation 👍🏻

Wir hatten eine schöne Woche in Heiloo. Im Ort selber ist alles zu Fuß oder mit dem Rad super erreichbar. Der Bahnhof ist auch fußläufig und Amsterdam erreicht man in einer halben Stunde mit dem Zug. Zum Meer ist es auch nicht weit, es gibt genügend Ausflugsziele in der Nähe. Wir waren 4 Erwachsene und 5 Kinder und hatten ausreichend Platz. Das Trampolin war natürlich das Größte für die Kleinen. Im Haus hat es uns an nichts gefehlt und alles war gemütlich und sauber. Marjolein und Jan sind sehr zuvorkommende, hilfsbereite und großzügige Gastgeber.

Wir haben uns während dem Aufenthalt in Amsterdam sehr wohl gefühlt, da man nicht direkt mitten in der Stadt und sich perfekt zurückziehen konnte. Der Ort bietet alles was man braucht und die Unterkunft war der Hammer! Eigene Saune & Whirlpool waren an den kühlen Oktober Abenden perfekt. Zimmeraufteilung top und besonderer Stimmung durch die hohen Decken! Alles in einem 10/10

Perfect home for our family of 10. Beautiful home, comfortable, spacious, very clean & tidy. Plenty of extras provided, like cleaning supplies, pantry etc. Great location for groceries, bakeries, eating out and transport. Only 20 minutes to Amsterdam and easy to get to other great towns to visit. Host was very proactive and responsive to any questions we had. Would definitely stay again. Best accommodation yet on our Europe trip. 😊
