Had a really love couple of nights with a group of friends over New Years Eve. Margaret was really helpful, she met us when we arrived and showed us around the house so we knew where everything was. The place is huge so that was really helpful. It looks just like the photos and is in a really lovely place, we could see horses out of our window and at night the stars were really bright. It was a perfect countryside escape and really well suited to a big group of people.

We had a wonderful stay at Pinfold Barns to celebrate my mum’s 70th birthday. The location was perfect—peaceful, beautiful surroundings and ideally situated for meeting up with family travelling from the Wirral. The barn was spacious, well-equipped, and had everything we needed for a relaxed and memorable weekend. Alison was incredibly responsive, helpful, and kind throughout our stay. A small issue with the tap was fixed quickly and without any hassle, which we really appreciated. The place was also fantastic for the kids—plenty of games to keep them entertained, and they were especially fascinated by the collection of CDs (or “records,” as they called them!). They had a great time picking some out and playing them. Overall, a perfect place for a special family gathering. Highly recommended!

Staying at Sasha's was absolutely wonderful. We felt at home right away and absolutely loved the homely touches, like the dvds and the range of books available. It was cosy, warm and super clean and Sasha even left us with a bottle of wine to enjoy and shared lots of wonderful recommendations. The book on Shropshire walks was partially useful and the Dickens Inn around the corner was a great place for a glass of port and sumptuous dinner. We hope to visit you again! Thanks so much!

We were greeted by our host who was extremely pleasant and very helpful. The property was spotless and very homely. We had a hamper stocked with some lovely bits and pieces such as cereal, biscuits, crisps. Rooms had ample bedding and pillows. Surroundings were absolutely beautiful and Eddie and Andy the cats were very friendly. We look forward to returning in the not so distant future. Cannot recommend highly enough

It was without doubt one of the best places we’ve stayed in! Everything had been thought of and it was very comfortable for our stay. Great location and perfect for what we wanted and everything easy to drive to with good access. Lovely garden for our small dog too. Scott was always on hand if needed.

Great place for a get together. Both sides had hot tubs and they were great with checking in and out!

I actually live very close by, but I had to accomodate people for my wife's birthday. It was far cheaper than a hotel, more convenient and `I would, and probably will, use it again. Thanks...we had a great birthday celebration!

We stayed at Plas Yn Llan with a group of friends for my partner's 30th and we absolutely loved it! Lots of space inside the house, a very well kitted out kitchen for all the meals we cooked, and the location was great for grabbing a local drink and going out hiking. Communication with the hosts was great in the run up to the trip and throughout. The whole group I was with loved their stay as well - can't recommend this place enough!

Such a lovely place to stay , the dressing gowns after the hot tub was a lovely touch especially as it’s still a little cold atm . Super clean and check in was easy . Loved how quiet it was . We will definitely be back thankyou so much

Lovely stay at The Owl House! In beautiful private surroundings, very peaceful and quiet; however it is very isolated, so you need to come fully stocked and need a car for getting everywhere. It was extremely clean, and the beds were insanely comfortable (best we have ever slept)! The hot tub was so lovely, and just what you need to relax especially in the evening while star gazing. The hosts were very useful and kind; we couldn’t fault them. The only thing we would note is, it’s perfect for 2 people, would say for anymore it’s a bit snug.

We were thrilled with this airbnb. It was beautiful and spacious. One of our party was in a wheelchair and was able to get around downstairs with ease. The downstairs bedroom was perfect for them (which is a room in it's own right, not the lounge with sofa beds as I thought from the pictures). The downstairs bathroom was also great for them. Gemma had put out ramps for the slight step on the entry door, and a step inside approaching the lounge. She had also rolled up the rugs to make it easier for them to get around. She was proactive and always responsive to texts. There was room for our four cars outside! We often saw Gemma go past with her beautiful horses and she stopped for a chat. I can recommend this place with enthusiasm, it is a haven of peace and comfort. (You don't need a code to get into the gate even though it looks like it from the pictures, but you will get a key-box code for the front door key a day or two before you get there).

One of my favourite Airbnb's I've ever stayed at, super cosy & comfortable, superbly equipped, excellent communication from the hosts, and ideally situated just outside Snowdonia to head into the mountains and explore. Thank you so much for a lovely stay, we'll be sure to return one day soon!

This is such a beautiful property and setting. Exactly as described. Made full use of the large hot tub and huge log fire! Dreamy. The nature reserve was only up the road to walk around, with other scenic walks close by, and The Miners pub is an absolute gem of a local pub. Real fires, food van and fabulous owners and staff. We felt so welcome by all, thank you for a fantastic and very memorable stay to celebrate my 40th.

The property was every bit as good as we hoped it would be, plus it was comfortable and homely. The fixtures and fittings were all of good quality, and we particularly liked the double sided wood burner. We made good use of the jacuzzi, which was a nice way to relax after doing lots of walking whilst sightseeing.

Just perfect - Gorgeous little spot, Gîte was modern and completely spotless. Adele and Sid were amazing hosts. We can recommend The Three Wrens gin tasting experience 10mins in a cab was amazing. Thanks Adele

Lovely place to stay for friend's wedding, Max was very accomodating in letting us have a slightly bigger group to stay one of the nights which was much appreciated! Would love to return to properly explore the beautiful local area sometime, thank you!

No better hosts than Helen & Tony, thank you for welcoming us to your beautiful holiday cottage. This picturesque property is nestled amongst fields of horses, rare breeds sheep and stunning countryside. The accommodation is tastefully decorated, clean, cosy, welcoming and is of grand proportions. It is situated within a period courtyard and within easy walking distance to lovely river/ woodland walks… do extend your walk to end at the ‘Sugar Plum Tearooms’ in nearby Rhewl … a real treat! The log burner only added to the ‘zen’ surroundings and the unexpected snowfall created a perfect ‘winter wonderland’ that we all enjoyed … seeing the distant snow capped Clwydian mountain range from the comfort of the living room, was absolutely breathtaking. An ultra comfy bed made for refreshing sleeps and little homely touches around the cottage made the place feel ‘loved’. A wonderful break away… we will return.

Beautiful place to stay and fabulous hosts just a bit too far out from the shops and places to visit due to the rural location. Great if you just want to stay in and enjoy the local area and hot tub

I had to visit the vet in Ellesmere Port and needed a place that took dogs in the local area. This place was perfect. Debbie could not have been more attentive or friendly. Dog and I slept brilliantly in the cosy property. I’ll be back!

Beautiful place, very peaceful and a nice getaway for anyone. It was a very cozy and nice place, quite clean but could use a deep clean at some point. But we had an amazing time, would definitely recommend and very friendly host!

The cottage was ideal for our family of four. Well laid out and more spacious than it appears from the photos. Parking directly outside. Great location to explore Cheshire.
