We had a great stay for a weekend here, while doing some mountain walking during the day. The place was really nice- I’d say better than the photos- certainly more spacious looking. The hot tub was excellent- fits 4 with room to spare. Decent wifi, which is helpful since you won’t have much phone signal. We also really enjoyed feeding the animals on the farm- which is available at a small cost per bag of feed. All in all, looking forward to booking another stay here in the near future.

The house was beautiful and very well located. Will definitely consider staying again but maybe in the spring/summer as we found the house a little cold in the evenings/overnight.

Really lovely stay, house was immaculate, lovely scenery and plenty of space outside for the kids to run about. Hottub was a great size and was a nice extra. Area was peaceful. Only thing I would say is the road to the house is quite bumpy and there are potholes, so just be careful driving down. But apart from that, it was perfect.

We had a wonderful stay, lovely town and cosy great spot within it. The cottage was well equipped and had lots of lovely touches, books, games etc. Great walks, coffee spots, shops, easy supermarkets nearby. We met the host briefly who was friendly and welcoming. Our only improvements would have been clearer instructions on the parking (a permit for the road was provided) and location (it’s slightly off the street) before arriving at the place, and heating having been on as it took us a bit of time to work out and heat up which was tricky with a baby. Otherwise excellent, would highly recommend, thank you!

Great stay, house was as described and in a good location. Previous comments about damp were unfounded and probably just linked to increased condensation due to the sauna room being in the house. House kept lovely and warm and had all the equipment needed with off road parking. Overall I would not hesitate to come back here again.

Stayed here with my friends for my boyfriends birthday and we had an amazing time. The place looked exactly like the pictures and there was something for everyone to do. Would highly recommend to anyone. We will 100% book again.

We had a lovely stay here, it was clean and very comfortable, and the log burner in the living room is great too. We brought our dogs with us, and Jill phoned us beforehand to warn us the garden wasn't fully secured in case this was a problem (it wasn't), which I appreciated. Location is handy for main routes, you are on the corner of a set of traffic lights but never heard the traffic in the house at all. We've already booked for another stay, and highly recommend this place!

We greatly enjoyed our stay at The Curlew's nest. The fittings and equipment were of high quality and provided everything we needed. We shall definitely try to stay there again when we are next in the Ruthin area.

Josh is a super host, we really enjoy his flat, very quiet, short distance to brilliant walks and beach of Talacre. We’ll book again, all you need in kitchen, very clean flat, good shower. It’s next to a barrack but not an issue as was very quiet in our stay.

Our family of two adults and four children (8,6,3,infant) had a great two-night stay here! Sandra met us at check-in and was a lovely host, always helpful and responsive. Beds were comfortable, bathroom clean, kitchen had everything we needed. Appliances and heating worked great, kids loved smart tv for their favorite shows. We had fun exploring the local area: Pontcysyllte Aqueduct, Valle Crucis abbey ruins, Chirk Castle, Flint Castle etc. Overall great stay and would recommend!

Fantastic location in the centre of Llangollen: lots of shops and things to do on the doorstep; we were also able to get here very easily by public transport on the train to Ruabon and a short bus ride to the stop nearby. Very comfy flat with everything you need. Would stay here again

Great two nights stay, while visiting family member in Chester Uni (only 20 min from Chester). Comfortable and fully equipped. My old two dogs enjoyed fully fenced garden. Welcome goodies -wine, pastry, milk and dog biscuits- much appreciated!! Picturesque village with lots of walks and lovely atmosphere- Holt castle within walking distance. Nice host, clear instructions, easy to find. Highly recommended.

We had a lovely stay here in ruthin, location was great just a short walk into town. Apartment was perfect everything you need with an amazing hot tub out on the balcony with lovely views next to the river. Great location in a central but quiet street. The parking permits James provided were really helpful. Lovely views from the property and it has a nice homely feel. Good shower & gigantic comfy bed! James was responsive and gave clear instructions for check in. Milk in the fridge on arrival was very welcome along with some sweet goodies! Would love to stay again if in the area.

Great place to stay if, like us, you are walking Offa’s Dyke as less than a mile off the trail at Trevor’s Basin/Aquaduct. On the main Llangollen Road it is 0.6 miles from food at Trevor’s Basin (advise booking latter if wanting to eat pre 5:30pm on a weekend). Accom even has washing machine if needed and they very kindly left us milk/water/Welsh cakes as a Welcolme package

An absolute gem of a property! Right in the middle or Ruthin, without being too busy or noisy. Location is perfect, close to bars, coffee shops and restaurants and ideally situated as a base for long walks too. My family and our dog loved the property. It mixes old, rustic charm with modern appliances and decor. We will definitely be back.

This was our second stay at Peters Airbnb and as always the place is beautiful, clean and welcoming easy to follow access to the property and Peter welcomed us on arrival east to follow directions to the property as well had a lovely birthday weekend staying here Thank you...!

We have a very pleasant stay at Grant and Tanya’s. The location is perfect, with the front door next to the train tracks of an old (former) coal-powered train, and the sound of the river/rapids. The apartment was bigger than the pictures on Airbnb. The one minor issue was the need to re-clean some of the glasses and cutlery, but I had booked the apartment about 4hrs before we arrived.. very last minute! Grant greeted us at the apartment and helped us find the place, and both were very helpful with recommendations and available. The bottle of Prosecco (and kitchen essentials) were a lovely touch. The neighbours of the building is a young family (I believe), so you do hear plenty of movement and some noise, but it doesn’t impact the great base this apartment is. Would highly recommend this for your trip to Llangollen!

A fantastic spot for the town. Nothing was too far away anything. It has a great outdoor patio area where you can sit and enjoy the river view. Inside is very well appointed, clean and tidy. A true home from home
