We had a lovely stay over New Year. The cottage is lovely and cosy with everything we could need. The area is a lovely little town and the views from the cottage are beautiful. Lorraine and Dave are excellent hosts who kept in touch with us throughout the stay. They were even kind enough to invite us out for karaoke and to see the New Year in with them at a bar in the town!

Amazing stay at Heron’s View with the rolling hills, private enclosed garden and enclosed meadow for the dog to run around. The house was warm and cosy decorated for Christmas, the bed was comfortable and modern decor throughout. A countryside retreat whilst only 5 mins from the town of Ruthin and its conveniences.

Our stay at Dee Valley cottages was fantastic. There was plenty of space for our boys to play outside and the amenities in the accommodation was exceptional. We loved it and would definitely book to stay here again. Thank you

The second time we have visited the Longbarn and both times loved it. It’s so serene, plenty of space and beautifully laid out. The kids love looking at the farm animals nearby - great space for all the family. We will be back for a third time!

The house was beautiful and very well located. Will definitely consider staying again but maybe in the spring/summer as we found the house a little cold in the evenings/overnight.

If you’re looking for a quiet comfortable place to stay in the beautiful Vale of Llangollen then look no further. The cottage is really well maintained with loads of extras for those looking for adventure. It’s warm and cozy and in easy reach of local amenities, but still tucked away in the woods with plenty of privacy. Beautiful walks are right on your doorstep, and you can chuck your car keys in the bottoms of your bag. Great undercover parking and outdoor space to relax in the sunshine. Will definitely be back.

Great host, responsive, helpful and friendly. The property was spotless and well equipped. Top floor was very comfy. Garden very spacious! Short drive away to local town however, the village itself had a great pub and chippy!

Gillon & Merete were fantastic hosts and very helpful and extremely friendly people. The property is terrific with oh so comfy beds and an extremely large garden that our dog had lots of fun in and playing with Margo the resident dog. We would return in a heartbeat, thank you both for a terrific weekend.

Lovely stay at The Owl House! In beautiful private surroundings, very peaceful and quiet; however it is very isolated, so you need to come fully stocked and need a car for getting everywhere. It was extremely clean, and the beds were insanely comfortable (best we have ever slept)! The hot tub was so lovely, and just what you need to relax especially in the evening while star gazing. The hosts were very useful and kind; we couldn’t fault them. The only thing we would note is, it’s perfect for 2 people, would say for anymore it’s a bit snug.

We had a lovely stay. The caravan had a real homely feel, which made us feel comfortable and relaxed during our stay and had everything we needed. Thank you so much!

Beautiful accomodation and grounds, friendly hosts.

The accommodation, location and facilities were perfect for a special birthday weekend for a party of 13... The house easily accommodated everyone, with plenty of space to relax. The kitchen was a superb focal point for a weekend of celebration and having access to multiple fridges was ideal. Outside, the natural pool was fabulous, as was the sauna, patio area and garden.. There are lovely walks from the house and a great local pub within reach. Very helpful neighbours on hand, if needed. Tim was an excellent host and this is a perfect setting for a special occasion.

Karen was brilliant host and caravan was lovely and clean. We had welcome pack on arrival which was very thoughtful. Caravan site is large and has loads of activities but we did not use those as we wanted to explore Wales therefore caravan was as perfect base for us. Friendly security staff helped us to find caravan as we arrived late evening. Best bit about caravan was nice powerful shower which was quite big for caravan. There were also 2 toilets which is handy if you visit with larger family( one in master bedroom). Also, terrace in Rio caravan was massive and absolutely great with chairs and table. We enjoyed staying at this caravan and exploring beaches close and further away as well as mountains in Snowdonia which was about 1 hour 20 min away but well worth visit. Other places were Conwy town and castle, Great Orme( heavenly).Morfa Conwy beach was our favourite as we loved long walk with dog and 5 year old son. Betws-Y- coed was very pretty place too(40 min) thank you

We had a great stay at the woodpecker lodge with our dog. We were very lucky with the weather and enjoyed relaxing on the decking and in the hot tub whilst admiring the views and the birds. I’d recommend this place to anyone looking for a peaceful break.

Richard was a superb host who communicated well. His Air BnB is located in a stunning picturesque location! Highly recommend to anyone who is wanting to stay in North Wales in a beautiful home and location with wonderful views.

Jo's place was ideal for us. The beds were comfy and cosy and the caravan had everything we needed.including a lovely hot shower and tasty treats. Jo was very acomodating and friendly. She.made space for our travel cot in one of the rooms and introduced the grandchildren to the variety of animals. We couldnt get our yougest grandson away from the animals. Lastly Jo was very quick to let us know when we left something behind and again acomodated our collection of the items. We wouldn't hesitate to book the caravan again if we needed somewhere to stay in the area and the grandchildren are already asking their parents if they can go back.

Couldn’t fault this beautiful place in any way shape or form. We were blessed by beautiful weather and sat out in the south facing terrace drinking wine within a few minutes of arriving. So well equipped and welcoming. We absolutely loved it here.

Great place to stay if, like us, you are walking Offa’s Dyke as less than a mile off the trail at Trevor’s Basin/Aquaduct. On the main Llangollen Road it is 0.6 miles from food at Trevor’s Basin (advise booking latter if wanting to eat pre 5:30pm on a weekend). Accom even has washing machine if needed and they very kindly left us milk/water/Welsh cakes as a Welcolme package

Velvet cottage has everything you need for a peaceful getaway. It was well resourced, comfortable and private. Llangollen is a lovely nearby town and Ian is a very responsive host.

Epic location! Great information about finding this remote and tranquil hideaway. Sara and Gethin were friendly and communicative hosts. The apartment annexe is comfortable, warm and cosy. A real gem!!

From the moment I booked, Kate was incredibly friendly and helpful. Really went the extra mile with recommendations for us. On arrival we were all really excited to be there. The place is immaculate and just as good as it looks. Beautifully furnished, cosy, has everything you need and was ideal for a member of the group with mobility issues as there's a downstairs bedroom and bathroom. Lovely place and lovely hosts.

We enjoyed a relaxing 2 night stay at the doghouse, our only regret is we didn’t stay longer. The area is beautiful, and there are so many places to go walking. Upon arrival, we were greeted with a selection of goodies, even the dog was thought about, with a bowl, blankets and treats provided. Make sure to try out the sauna and cold plunge too during your stay. If you intend to use the hot tub, it can take a few hours to warm up during the winter,especially when you first arrive as the water is changed after every stay. We will definitely be returning to try out the other accommodation.
