Gaby is a phenomenal hostess. She lives close by and made sure that we were comfortable. She noticed that there was no steam from our outside exhaust vent and contacted us that the heat may be out. It was and our hot water was also affected. She fixed the problem before there was any discomfort and we didn’t even realize that there was an issue. She was also nice enough to bring her dogs by so we could visit with them and love on them. The home is charming and quiet. We visited in the winter so we didn’t use the pool but my wife and I loved the jacuzzi tub and used it nightly! There were many board games to choose from and a smart TV if we just wanted to relax at night. We didn’t see a bahnhof (train stop) in town and the nearest grocery store is in Rothenburg, about 5KM away. So you’ll need a car. I think there is a guesthaus down the road with a restaurant but your choices are very limited in the village. There are also many stairs so the house is not ADA compliant.

That everything was very clean and thoughtful. They welcomed me with chocolates and a bottle of wine. Possibly because I was celebrating my birthday at their FerienWohnung. Alcoholic beverages stocked in fridge that are available to the guest. Very friendly and helpful hosts. Any time again!

Meine Jungs und ich haben den Aufenthalt sehr genossen. Es war alles da was man gebraucht hat. Die Lage, der schöne große Garten samt Terasse, Sauna, Whirlpool war ein behüteter Entspannungsort. Wir kommen super gerne wieder!

wir waren sehr zufrieden. Ich habe die Unterkunft für ein Familien-Wochenende gebucht. Wir haben einen Einjährigen dabei. Es war viel Spielzeug in der Wohnung, hinter dem Haus ein großer Garten mit einem Fuhrpark für die Kleinen, Rutsche, Bälle, Tore, Schaufeln - alles, was ein Kinderherz begehrt. Die Wohnung ist groß, die Schlafzimmer sind im Obergeschoss. Alles bestens. Küche ist schön groß, ein schöner Kaminofen ist auch vorhanden, der für wohlige Wärme sorgt. Die Eigentümer wohnen unten und sind sehr hilfsbereit. Uns hat es sehr gut gefallen, wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Es ist sehr ruhig dort. Parkplatz direkt vor der Tür. 25km nach Rothenburg ob der Tauber und 16km ins Freilandmuseum Bad Windsheim. Unterkunft ist für Familien sehr zu empfehlen.

Dorothee was wonderful and her place was a delight to stay in. I had issues on the road and arrived late. She was more than accommodating and even helped me with dinner when she realized I wouldn't get any due to the late hour. I heavily enjoyed my time here in this peaceful residence. I only wish I stayed here longer. Thank you for a wonderful experience!

Super god lejlighed. Pænt og rent, dejlig madras, pude og dyne. Perfekt til 2 par, da soverummene ligger væk fra hinanden.

Wij waren met 7 volwassenen en 1 kind. Het appartement was ruim genoeg. Zeer gezellig ingericht, alles was aanwezig. Alles was mooi en schoon. De prijs is het zeker waard. Om de hoek van het appartement is een gezellig restaurant waar je heerlijk kunt eten voor weinig geld. Het contact met Birgit was vanaf het begin heel prettig. Reageert heel snel op vragen. Dus dit appartement zou ik zeker aanbevelen.

Wir haben uns herrlich wohlgefühlt und die Zeit sehr genossen. Das Haus liegt sehr ruhig und man kann direkt vom Haus aus Wandern, Radeln und auch Rennradfahren. Drinnen war es mit Kachelofen und Nachtspeicher wohlig warm bei teilweise noch fröstelnden Nächten. Nachmittags konnten wir aber auch zweimal schon im Garten in der Sonne sitzen. Wir hatten alles, was wir brauchten. Unser Enkelhund hat es auch sehr genossen. Steinau an der Straße haben wir einen Besuch abgestattet und Lohr am Main, beides sehr schöne Orte.

Das alte Jägerhaus besticht durch zeitlosen Charme. Ruhig gelegen, direkt am Waldrand ergeben sich morgens Konzerte diverser Vögel. Mit allem, was man für den Alltag braucht, ist diese Unterkunft ausgestattet und wir danken Constantin sehr für die wirklich herzliche Begrüßung und Einweisung, als auch die Möglichkeit in diesem Kleinod übernachten zu können. Wir kommen gerne wieder und danken für die tolle Zeit ❣️👍👍👍🫡👋👋

Christian’s place and location was phenomenal! It is in a historic building and a prime location of town with a view out the window of the castle. It was extremely magical and well worth the price. Christian was available and responsive if needed. I highly recommend this place. Also, the cafe under the apartment was delicious!

Ich kann die Ziegelmühle 100 Prozent empfehlen. Die Ankunft war sehr angenehm, freundlicher Empfang, Parkplatz direkt vor der Tür, Spielscheune direkt gegenüber, sodass man die Kinder beim Ausladen schön im Blick hat. Super Aktivitäten: wir haben das Grillen und Lagerfeuer mit den Hosts sehr genossen, genau wie unseren Ausflug ins Erlebnisbad Ansbach und den Kinderwanderweg Rüdisbronn. Die Ziegelmühle ist sehr ruhig gelegen. Richtig toll, wenn man mal paar Tage abschalten möchte. Keinerlei Negativaspekte.

Einfach von der Autobahn erreichbar. Sehr sauber und geräumig. Perfekt für einen Zwischenstopp.

Gemütliche Ferienwohnung. Wir haben uns mit unseren Kids dort sehr wohl gefühlt. Es ist alles da, was man füe ein paar Tage Auszeit braucht.

We loved our stay at Kathi’s beautiful home. There’s everything you need there and we were grateful for the extra consumables and special holiday touches. We were able to bring our extended family together from around the globe and we felt right at home for the holidays. We loved the walking trails and being surrounded by nature. It’s relaxing to spend time in the garden, even in the winter, and the stars at night are amazing. Nearest grocery shopping is 8 minutes away and the neighboring villages are picturesque. Kathi was also flexible, which was greatly appreciated! We’d love to return.

This was our second time in Rudi and Sigrid's house. This time we stayed for 1 month and we couldn't choose a better place to stay again. Like before, the house is perfect for a short or long term stay, because it offers everything you need. The kitchen is fully equipped, the bathroom is spacious with a lot of storage, the bedroom is very comfortable and the living room too. Staying here during the first spring days was lovely. Rudi and Sigrid were very kind to prepare an outside table and chairs so we could enjoy the sunny days with a view to a beautiful garden and pool. The house is super comfortable and you immediately feel at home. We recommend 100% if you're choosing to stay in Würzburg. You can also enjoy a big park in the Hubland area, as well as some coffee shops, supermarkets and a gym. You are also just a few bus stops from the city center. We are very thankful for Rudi and Sigrid's hospitality and we are sure we will come back one day.

Linda is a great host. Our team stayed over 2 months in her lovely home. She is very polite and hospitality person. We highly recommend her place.

We traveled to Germany to enjoy the Christmas Markets and area attractions...this beautiful historic home was perfect for the 5 adults in our group. Home is spacious with plenty of room to roam, a kitchen stocked with necessary utensils for meal prep and free covered parking available. Two bedrooms have their own sink and mirror, a nice feature. Would definitely stay again.

Wir waren als 4köpfige Familie (Kinder 7 und 1 Jahr alt) für ein Wochenende bei Marco und Steffi. Wir haben die Wohnung als Base für ein Wochenende in Bamberg genutzt. Wir hatten alles was wir brauchten, haben uns sehr wohl und willkommen gefühlt, die Wohnunh war sehr sauber und mit dem eigenen Zugang perfekt für uns. Die Kinder konnten morgens und Abends in Sichtweite zum Wohnbereich im Garten spielen. Das ist definitiv ein riesen Vorteil mit den Kids. Danke euch!

Von Anreise bis Abreise einfach alles perfekt. (auch das wir gegen 22 Uhr erst ankamen war kein Problem) Man konnte sich immer melden und es wurde immer schnell reagiert. Wir kommen zu 100% wieder. Super nette Leute und besonders für Kinder einfach ein super Ort.

Vom Buchen bis zur Abreise war alles super! Die Wohnung ist sehr schön eingerichtet. Es ist alles vorhanden, was gebraucht wird. Man kann sich prima entspannen. Der Weiher ist ein Paradies für Angler, ebenso der Angellladen im Gebäude. Das hauseigene Schwimmbad mit Liegen ausgestattet. Ich kann einfach nur schwärmen von der Thomas mühle.

Melanie was a great host! She was very helpful with restaurant suggestions and other requests. Her response time was very quick. She is wonderful!
