We really enjoyed staying here despite the snow, freezing rain & wind! We were looking for a quiet and relaxing getaway weekend and that’s exactly what we got! We were able to have a good time with all the games that are there to play! Also the Ricketts Glen Hotel is less than 5 minutes away for some very good food! I highly recommend this listing!

The house was so cozy and welcoming. The weather was not great so we stayed in most of the weekend and just hung out, watched movies and cooked dinner and had everything we needed. We stayed here for my mom’s birthday weekend. It had so much space that all of us could have our own rooms! The view of the lake from the back deck was stunning, and the house was very clean. They had lots of cards and the pool table kept us occupied! Overall, this place was awesome. We are hoping we can stay here again in the future!!

Great deck and view of the lake - peaceful and relaxing. The house had all the amenities we needed - great grill, large sitting area and TV to hang out with family. The kids enjoyed playing in the downstairs area and roasting marshmallows out back.

The location was in the prime spot for ski trip to ELK Mountain. The price was amazing and was nice having the tavern and general store right there. No need to leave. Would definitely stay again and the place was like a mini cabin. Was a blast.

This cozy nook in old forge PA was a fantastic little one bedroom that had a well stocked kitchen, modern amenities, and was really well located for our wedding activities in the Scranton area. Would totally recommend staying

Just an awesome place, welcoming host, and stunning views. Had such a great time cooking, hanging out, using the kayaks, spending time w their dog, enjoying meals outside, and resting here. I had a great time staying at Silvia's place. It was near an Indian Grocery Store and Mansour's, which is a nice restaurant. It's not very close to the downtown area, but a quick drive away. I liked the fridge, it was very large and clean. Everything in the apartment seemed very new. The TV was nice. The dining area and seating areas were also very nice and large.

The place is good and comfortable. The host is nice and approachable. I felt happy to stay here with Nina when I was in Scranton.

We keep coming back to Valerie’s place because of its great location and responsive hosts.

A great cozy cabin to get away from the hustle and bustle of reality. My friend and I booked this cabin strictly to getaway to read our books with no distractions. It was great! And the surprise pumpkin bread cooling off when we first got there: amazing! It smelled amazing and tasted even better! Thank you, Naomi!

Lovely, peaceful, private cabin. Lisa was a fantastic and very responsive host throughout our stay. The directions and guest instructions were very clear, the place was exactly as described, check in and access were very straightforward. We look forward to our next visit.

Besides the beautiful home, the over the top care for us as guests from the host will be the reason we will be returning. Marina was courteous and caring making sure we got in and how the stay was going. Over all amazing experience and will definitely be returning.

We had a great stay at Stacy and Tim’s beautiful cabin. It is very spacious, homely and well equipped for a comfortable stay. The fireplace was very cozy and lake views were amazing. It snowed when we were there and the driveway was cleared straight away. Stacey was very responsive and great with local recommendations. I would definitely stay again !

Our stay was very nice, everything was just like the listing. We had two dogs who enjoyed the area and stream on the property. Ticks were present but that anywhere with wooded areas. It’s not far to walk into town and get food or ice cream and have a relaxing evening. Would definitely stay again.
