Fabulous lodge, beautifully decorated for Christmas with a lovely festive welcome pack waiting for us on arrival. The beds were comfy and a good size unlike other lodges we've stayed in. Peaceful site which is close to plenty of restaurants and other amenities. Good communication from the host. We had a perfect family Christmas staying here and enjoyed it so much, we've already booked another stay.

This was the absolute perfect place to stay for our trip - I grew up in the area and now live in Canada. We came back for a family reunion over New Year (my parents live very close by). Holly was super helpful and always responded very quickly to any queries. The house was very welcoming, clean, very well furnished and well equipped. Very quiet neighbourhood. Very comfortable beds! Check in instructions were very clear and well communicated. Thank you Holly for helping make our trip very special.

My sisters and I were in awe of how beautiful this lake house retreat was, with such an incredible view and location! The home itself felt cosy and was incredibly spacious, clean and beautiful with great amenities such as a hot-tub and so much more. We had a fantastic time and I can’t wait to book again when I’m next back in the UK! Abigail was incredibly helpful and would recommend to anyone! A very nice apartment at a fantastic location. Close to shops and tram-station. Maybe a bit for the center of town, but for us it was perfect. And Jo was a very proactive and responding host.

An excellent property in a quiet location, but walking distance to lots of eateries. A good base if you are travelling in Liverpool/Manchester and Lancashire. Clean and warm. Easy access and enough parking for 2 vehicles on the drive.

The perfect accommodation for our group trip to Lancaster - had everything a group needs for a short stay and more. Ray and Sue were amazing hosts, extremely accommodating and helpful. Plenty of parking, well stocked kitchen, would definitely stay here again, thank you!

Made to feel very welcome by Erik. Accomodation is great and in a lovely quiet spot. It has everything needed for a stay over with breakfast items also included. Good location for Lancaster and exploring the coast. Will be back.

I was very comfortable for the four weeks I stayed at Darren's in Waterloo. The location was close walking distance to all the amenities and easy to grab a train farther afield. Really nice beach only 10 min walk away. The flat itself is modern, well laid-out and well-maintained and the kitchen is fully equipped for a single person or a couple for even extended stays. Darren was a communicative, considerate host so I always felt like I had support if anything went wrong. I'd definitely come back.

Beautiful spacious apartment, with every need perfectly catered for. From the coffee machine to the keyless entry (great idea) to parking. Comfy beds. Large rooms. Location is great, easy walking to everything in town and perfect to explore further afield. Communication brilliant. Perfect.

Great place to stay. Lovely area close to Colne and surrounding areas. House was very well stocked- had everything you could need. Would 100% recommend staying there again.

We really enjoyed our stay. It is in a beautiful location with a great space for the dog to explore, the house is spacious and has everything we needed for a few days. Kirby Lonsdale itself has good shops, cafes and places to eat, and there are numerous walks and places to explore not too far - Patrick shared some great recommendations in advance which were very helpful. We look forward to another visit on our next trip to Scotland.

Beautiful place to stay, stayed for 2 weeks, wished it could have been longer. It was perfect, tranquil and just what I needed.

Absolutely beautiful little cottage, so peaceful and private. Added bonus was the chickens that greeted us on arrival. The Fenwick Arms is a great gastro pub, so friendly. Would highly recommend to friends and family and we will definitely be back.

The cottage is rustic and idyllic, surrounded by beautiful countryside, trees and nearby lake. The dawn chorus woke us up every morning, and the pigs came to say hello. The cottage has everything you need, and is clean, warm and cosy. As the cottage is at the end of the lane it is very quiet and private, with only a few walkers passing by the front window, but no car traffic at all. We enjoyed sitting out the front eating our breakfast, or going down to the lake later on. The only downside was the mattress needs replacing as a spring has broken, there were a few cobwebs, and there were a lot of harlequin ladybirds, however, this added to the charm of the place. Having Gait Barrows NNR, Leighton Moss RSPB reserve and other fabulous places on the doorstep was great, we are nature lovers and saw otter, deer, avocet and heard booming bittern. Overall, we loved our stay and are already looking into when we can come back again, thank-you very much for an amazing holiday! From Ruth and Ben

The lake house is absolutely stunning. Very open plan and spacious which we loved. Lovely view of the lake and very private. Cosy of a nighttime with the fire on. Was nicely heated. Never too hot or too cold. Had all the amenities we needed to cook. Hot tub was fabulous. The property was well looked after and extremely clean. We had a lovely welcome hamper which we appreciated so much! The only qualms we had was that the glasses were quite dirty so had to re wash those, there was a strange smell in the downstairs en suite bathroom when we arrived, it smelt like stale damp sewage, it improved slightly but never really went away. The bed was also extremely firm so back ached a lot in the morning (however that is personal preference, I do personally sleep on soft beds better) thank you for a wonderful stay. It really was beautiful! Xx
