We enjoyed our stay so much. The property is so clean and fully stocked with everything. Decor is so cute. We used fire pit with wood supplied by the owners. The owner was very responsive and available anytime needed. This property is very close to my husbands childhood home so that made it that much better. We will definitely stay again.

This old farm house was so beautifully furnished! The host were very friendly and easy to communicate with. The house was in a great location near the New River and trail access. The area was very peaceful and quite with plenty of privacy. It was cold outside and we used the wood stove which warmed the house beautifully. The kitchen was one of my favorite places as it has a appliances that match the age of this farm house. The host did an amazing job decorating and making it feel homie. We will definitely come back and stay at this lovely place in the future. Thank you Jonathan and Rebecca for allowing us to stay in your lovely home!!!

The lodge and its hosts are amazing! Our only complaint is that our stay was too short to fully appreciate all that this lodge had to offer! My husband and I and our 8 children (ages 22, 20, 20, 18, 16, 15, 13, and 11) were visiting grandparents in the area. We had a fabulous time hiking the trails, playing poker, having a campfire, playing basketball, fishing in the creek, cooking in the kitchen, visiting with family, and taking in the amazing views. Several of the kids even said that it was good that the place didn't have great cellular service. The house is spacious with plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms. The kitchen is well stocked for any kind of cooking. We would highly recommend this home and plan to stay again soon!

Perfect Mountain Getaway! This Airbnb was everything we were looking for—cozy, clean, and quiet. Nestled in the beautiful mountains, it offered the perfect retreat. The home had everything we needed, with thoughtful special touches that made our stay even more enjoyable. Check-in and check-out were seamless, making the whole experience stress-free. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a peaceful escape! It's at the perfect location to visit my husband's family and mother who lives less that a .25 mile away! We can be near family with a cozy retreat, we will definitely be back!!

This home was great! The host was responsive when any issues came up and their home was so peaceful. The location and setting can’t be better. Right by the highway, but far enough away that you can’t tell. Overlooks beautiful pasture land. The home is spacious and fully stocked. Thank you for sharing your home with us.

Overall, a great stay! You can see the river right from the porch. It’s a beautiful view and so peaceful. Sadly, we were sick most of the stay and didn’t enjoy it as much as we wanted. But we will be back! More details: It was very clean and well taken care of- there was even a note from the cleaner which I thought was a nice touch. In the end, I only had a few complaints. I was looking forward to a nice bath in the jacuzzi tub but there simply was never enough hot water to fill it up (even half way). And I tried multiple nights. The communication did feel more like communicating with a big company or ‘corporate’- but they were still responsive, just might not have been as much as a personal host would have been. (Found myself repeating a few questions) Lastly, the couch in the living room was pretty worn and the peeling leather made it a tad uncomfortable. HOWEVER, the pros out weighed the cons. It had beyond everything we needed to cook and live comfortably for the week!

Patty’s place is a beautiful, peaceful cabin right on the New River Trail. We booked this cabin because it was on the trail and had a large fenced in yard for our two dogs. The cabin was very clean and had everything you need in the kitchen! Nice dishes and pots and pans. The huge outside porch was perfect for eating lunch and dinner while the dogs played in the yard. It is a peaceful paradise! Patty always answered my questions so quickly!! Thank you Patty for sharing your cabin with us, we hope to be back this summer! Boo & Bella said thank you too! Woof woof!

My husband and I enjoyed our stay so much, we added an extra day to our stay! Thankfully the cabin wasn’t yet booked for the next day so Davin made it extremely easy for us! The cabin was everything we expected and MORE! We felt like kids again as we got to explore the beautiful surrounding outdoors, play cards, and with the tumble tower provided! Davin was a wonderful host and was very proactive and responsive to all correspondence. My husband and I enjoyed a solo trip this time, but we look forward to revisiting with our 3 children in the future! Most definitely a beautiful stay, with a wonderful host, for a great value.

My wife and I came up for a three day Veterans Day weekend with our dogs. This peaceful retreat was exactly what the doctor ordered. Beautiful, peaceful, & extremely relaxing. We enjoyed our stay so much, we didn't want the weekend to end...so we extended our booking another night. We're definitely coming back to this amazing location again. Our cabin, Shaman's Cure was cute, rustic, well equipped and exactly as described and pictured. Our dogs loved hanging outside on the covered porch and along the river bank while we had nightly fires in the fire pit, and even cooked some steaks over the open flame.

Overall a great time. Great watching the cows in the field and walking along the New River. The river access and trail is so convenient. The stay was quiet and peaceful. We did check in a outlet early so we appreciated the understanding of our hosts. Very accommodating. Would return for future needed breaks from life.

A great place to relax. There was plenty of space on the property to play games and lounge around. The river access is a little difficult for people with disabilities but overall highly recommended.

This house was perfect for a weekend getaway with friends. Clean and clutter free home with an almost fully stocked kitchen. We agreed the beds were not actually queen sized, probably full sized. Very easy river access and easy to find in a very peaceful area. Hope to come back again soon!
