This hostel is beautifully designed, with a modern aesthetic—it allows your thoughts to wander and your mind to feel free. On top of that, the staff provided such a personal experience. They are genuinely the kindest people, going out of their way to ensure we had a great experience. Whether it’s providing local tips, having thoughtful conversations, or just being genuinely caring, they made our stay unforgettable. If you’re looking for a welcoming and spotless place to stay, this hostel is a must! Not to forget, the town Tsuwano has such a charming, peaceful atmosphere, perfect for exploring or just taking it easy. We were especially impressed by the local food—everything was incredibly fresh, and each meal felt like a true taste of the region. We only wish we could have stayed longer to soak in more of the area’s beauty and enjoy the warm hospitality at the hostel. It’s a place we’ll definitely want to return to!

Hosts were very attentive. I ended up at wrong place because I didn’t put address into google maps. Instead I put name in and then was directed to wrong guesthouse. While I wandered hosts were in constant contact and walked out to find me at the ferry. They were immediately on phone to Airbnb to correct listing names from what I could tell Breakfast was traditional and delicious. House was chilly as it was February

Perfect place to stay and explore Hiroshima. The room was spacious, warm, and comfortable. The shared facilities like the kitchen, bathroom, were very convenient to use. Masakazu san picked me up and dropped me off at the Hiroshima station, which lowers travel stress! Junko san is one of the friendliest and kindest hosts I've met, and she makes an amazing breakfast. They both go out of their way to make sure your stay is perfect. I found the location great, with easy access to bus and tram routes. Highly recommend this place for your Hiroshima explorations!

Kikue and her home were wonderful from beginning to end. She is an exceptionally kind, generous, and pleasant host. Her home was spotless, well decorated, and combined with her warmth, it felt like a home away from home. I had the opportunity to converse with her and her family in Japanese, during which she was very helpful when a word that I did not know came up. And the delightful breakfasts she prepared every morning were the highlight of my day. Thanks to her kindness, I had a truly special time in Hiroshima. I would highly recommend Kikue and her home to any prospective guest, and I would love to return myself.

When staying here, you become apart of the family. They are very generous and want you to experience Japan's culture and cuisine. Google translate / Airbnbs translate were used to hold conversations. Location: Nearby Pikmin Terrace, and commuter transit accessible to Miyajima Island, and Hiroshima City. They were kind to bring me back/forth to the train station.

夜は鈴虫の音だけが聞こえる静かな環境に癒されました。街から離れているので車がないと移動は大変そうですが、自然が豊かな場所でした。掲載されている写真が小さくてよく見えず不安でしたが、お家は純日本家屋がリノベーションされていて新しくとても綺麗で安心しました。お隣のカフェで美味しい朝ご飯をお腹いっぱいいただきました。チェックアウトする前日の夜に、予定を変更して翌朝は早朝にチェックアウトしたいと伝えたのですが、時間外の早朝に朝ご飯の支度をしていただき有り難かったです。洗濯機はなかったのでコインランドリーに行かなければいけませんでしたが、曇り空で湿度も高く洗濯物がなかなか乾きそうにないお天気だったので、無料で乾燥機を使わせていただけたのは助かりました。 チェックインの時間帯が15時から18時までと短く、ホストの方とも連絡がつかず、押していた予定を切り上げて慌ててチェックインに向かわなければならなかったのは残念でした。

蔵での宿泊という初めての経験をさせていただきました。 隣に古い神社があり初詣にも行くことができ大満足の旅となりました。 丁寧に対応頂きありがとうございました。 車のナビゲーションではたどり着けませんでしたが、 事前にアクセスについてのご案内を頂いていたのでそれを頼りに迷うことなくたどり着くことができました。 機種差はあるかもしれませんがDocomoの電波は蔵の中でも入るようですが、AUの電波が殆ど入らないようでしたが、Wi-Fi環境もありますのでそこまで不便ではありませんでした。
