Nice place, good WiFi, possible to walk to Peace Park (about 30mins) and main shops. Found a huge supermarket about 20minutes walk from Airbnb towards the museum of contemporary art. We didn’t like the low chairs and table. Too tricky to eat meals on for us inflexible Westerners! Overall a good place to stay. Hosts very responsive.

I loved the beautiful surroundings. It was a very quiet and pleasant experience. The night of check in, I was unsure of which building i had to enter. Thankfully the owner replied to my question extremely fast! In the morning, we chatted for alittle before i left. They are warm and friendly. Highly recommend and would definitely come back. This location is right by the river and has easy access to activities in Hiroshima. Definitely walkable and it sits above a cafe/bar for that late night cap. Everyone is very friendly and our stay was peaceful! We were cozy and felt welcomed

I stayed in Hiroshima for three months and chose North River Hotel for my long-term stay. The owner, Hiroaki, was incredibly helpful, providing detailed info before my arrival. Since I flew into Narita, I forwarded my luggage via Black Cat (Yamato). It arrived before me, and Hiroaki delivered it to my room—great service! Instead of tipping (not common in Japan), I gave him a small duty-free gift in appreciation. The apartment was clean, well-furnished, and had great views of Edion Stadium, Tenma River, and a lively playground. Across the street, a peaceful 5 km riverwalk offered scenic strolls. The location was perfect—near JR Yokogawa Station, intra-city trams (Hiroden), and key attractions. I often visited the neighborhood's Datto Kohi (Dart Coffee) for breakfast and lunch, and enjoyed the newly opened Astra bar, where the owner, Mr. Wu and his wife, were incredibly welcoming. Would I stay again? ABSOLUTELY! Great host, ideal location, and excellent service! ​ ​

Good place. Enjoyed the stay. House was very nice, but a bit far from city, so I recommend reserving this place only if you have a car

当日夕方のリクエスト、21時ごろのチェックインにも関わらず、丁寧かつ柔軟に対応して頂けました。ロケーションがよく、角島大橋もすぐ近くで翌朝すぐに観光に行くこともできました。またゆっくり泊まりに行きたいです！

必要なものは揃っていたので快適に連泊することができました。 ホストの方も親切で、地元のお祭のことを教えていただき、楽しい夏の思い出ができました。

直前の予約にも関わらず気持ちよく滞在させていただきました。お宿もとても清潔でした。切串港からも近くとても便利でした。また広島に訪問する際はぜひまた滞在させてきただきたいお宿です。ありがとうございました。

They are genuinely the kindest people, going out of their way to ensure we had a great experience. Whether it’s providing local tips, having thoughtful conversations, or just being genuinely caring, they made our stay unforgettable. If you’re looking for a welcoming and spotless place to stay, this hostel is a must! Not to forget, the town Tsuwano has such a charming, peaceful atmosphere, perfect for exploring or just taking it easy. We were especially impressed by the local food—everything was incredibly fresh, and each meal felt like a true taste of the region. We only wish we could have stayed longer to soak in more of the area’s beauty and enjoy the warm hospitality at the hostel. It’s a place we’ll definitely want to return to!

L'île d'Etajima est une très belle île à visiter, mais attention, peu de bus, donc préférez louer une voiture ou des vélos. Cependant, notre hôte nous a prêté 2 vélos et son père nous a gentiment transportés en voiture et fait visiter les environs. Le coin est très calme, parfait pour se reposer. Côté plages, il y en a 3 sur Etajima, facilement accessibles en voiture ou à vélo. Mais ce que nous retiendront surtout c'est la gentillesse de nos hôtes, ravis de nous faire découvrir leur île, de rendre service et d'échanger avec nous, même si nous ne parlions pas japonais. une belle expérience humaine. Et une belle pause dans notre voyage. Merci.

This is the place to be if you wish to visit the Hiroshima Peace Memorial museum, Peace dome and other places with historical significance. Just a 5-15 min walk from Hotel Good Sleep. The host provided clear instructions, offered good suggestions and we were even allowed to leave our stuff/luggage for a few hours after check out. Good value for its price. The responsive and friendly host is a bonus!
