Traveling to remote mountainous locations, well away from the bustle of a city can be daunting for travelers. However, the incredible team at Kakurinbo Buddhist Temple is exceptional in every way. They truly made our trip to Kakurinbo quite incredible. Saeko, Sho, and the many other wonderful team members are special in their ability to help you feel so comfortable and at home in their temple accommodations. We are eager to return for sure.

우선 조식을 희망하는 시간에 만들어주시는데 정~말 맛있었습니다. 1층에 방이 3개인데 침대도 너무 편하고 잠도 잘 잘 수 있었어요. 사장님이 정말 친절하시고, 재밌으시고, 굉장히 쿨 하십니다. 다음에 가면 또 묵으려고요. 동네도 조용하고, 근방을 산책했는데 평화롭고 너무 좋았습니다. 가성비 최고!! 시즈오카 여행 계획을 미리 안짜고 와도 사장님께 여쭤보면 맛있는 가게, 관광지 등 추천 많이 해주셔요. 꼭!! 와보세요!!

I had a wonderful time at Julian's Pension and can highly recommend this B&B to anyone. Katrina and Julian were really friendly and it was easy to communicate with them. Thanks to the advice from Katrina, I was able to experience their local Onsen, the Fujimi Panorama Resort and learned a lot of really interesting facts about the life in Japan. The private room and shared facilities were really clean and had everything I needed. Western style Breakfast and dinner was always delicous. There are still places in Fujimi I would love to visit and if it works out, I would really love to stay at this B&B again.

雖然距離車站有一點距離，不過正因為是住宅區，所以非常寧靜，對於白天耗盡體力的旅客來說，可以在此獲得充足休息（對面有7-11，買東西方便）；房東很熱情並主動提出協助，時間可以搭配的話能前往車站接送，恢復訊息也很快。最後，感謝昨晚推薦我去當地泡湯的地方，泡完之後讓我一夜好眠。希望下次有機會再來玩☺️

WaUww, what a beautiful place! We stayed for 2 nights to unwind from Tokyo, and take in the fresh air of the mountains. A walk up the mountain the house is on is recommended, it was amazing up there, nice views of Mr. Fuji. The hike is quite steep at some points but doable. Also visited FujiQ theme park, a lot of rides were closed, but the ones we went into were worth it! The bath at the house is amazing, the area around the house is beautiful and the hosts (and other guests) are very friendly and nice to talk to!

You should definitely come here 💗 We are a Japanese and Austrian couple. The owner Jun and Kimi are very friendly and warm, they treat you as a family. We will definitely come again🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

食事も部屋も大満足でした。初回利用だったのですが、宿までのアクセスの説明であったり、到着後のコミュニケーションもとても丁寧で気持ちよかったです。 また機会があれば宿泊させていただきたいです。

Lovely place with Mt Fuji view. V cozy.m and charming, better than photos shown. Will certainly come back if I do visit Hakone again. Breakfast is delicious too! Love the public onsen which is made available on a first come first serve basis. The onsen is of natural mineral hot spring.

標高1000m以上の場所にあり、夏でもとても快適に過ごせ、施設内もとても清潔で温泉も新しく旅の疲れを癒せます。 ウッドテラスで朝食を食べられ、朝食も美味しく緑があり最高の朝を迎えられます。 オーナーの方もとても明くる良い方で色々細かい所まで、気を使って頂きホスピタリティも完璧です。 自然の中でユッタリ休日を過ごしたい方にオススメの宿です。
