Notre séjour chez Tohru a été une expérience formidable ! Il nous a beaucoup aidé avec la logistique, notamment en venant nous chercher et en nous déposant à la gare des bus, et nous a donné de précieux conseils pour explorer. Ils nous ont également prêté des vélos, ce qui nous a permis de nous balader facilement et de découvrir d’excellentes adresses pour manger aux alentours. La maison, très traditionnelle et partagée avec leurs parents, ça offre une immersion authentique dans la culture japonaise. Nous avons eu la chance d’avoir une vue magnifique sur le mont Fuji et de dormir sur un futon tatami, ce qui a rendu l’expérience encore plus spéciale. Un séjour chaleureux et inoubliable – merci encore !

A rural retreat, off the tourist path, but easily accessible by train from Tokyo. We were keen for some rural Japan after quite a few stops in urban centres. The house is in a quiet, unspoilt setting. You can do short walks from the house that can include views of Mount Fuji down the valley. There's other places you can pop into too, such as the Owl Cafe or the wonderful deli/shop at the petrol station up the road. The house itself has kept its rustic and traditional appearance and features, while also having very functional equipment, from Wifi to everything you'd need for cooking. Some great places to read and relax in, from the garden to by the wood burner. We did not have car which was fine - it's just 6 minutes by taxi from the station, but a car would allow you to explore further afield. Ryo the host was very helpful with answering questions rapidly and clearly. I would highly recommend!

Super bien reçu, l’hôte est venu nous chercher et nous a déposer à la gare malgré notre retard, ils nous ont conseillés de bonne adresses, accueillant et très serviable je recommande à 100000% le lieu est magique et proche de commerce. Je reviendrai !

Our room is facing mt fuji but unfortunately we are having both rainy day when we stay there. It’s pure luck. We enjoy their private hot spa so much with a family of 3. A very good bonding time. We have tried both taxi and walking during the stay. It cost approx 1000yen from kawaguchiko station to the house or 26 mins walk ( it’s a damn long walk because no scenery) And please don’t try to walk with big luggage because the road is quite narrow for car passing. Taxi is much better choice 👍🏻 and not costing a fortune.

This Airbnb is in a great location with amazing views of Mt. Fuji and within a short walking distance of Lake Kawaguchiko.

È stato bello passare delle notti in questo alloggio tipico giapponese con vista sul monte Fuji! Lo spazio era pulito e ordinato e l’host è stato molto gentile e disponibile. Inoltre c’è la possibilità di noleggiare le biciclette e io ho raggiunto le attrazioni vicine: pagoda chureito, i 4 laghi, Fujikyu Highland e svariati centri termali.

An amazing place to stay! A really cool space with private Onsen. Would definitely recommend if you are travelling to Hakone. It is also very close to the nearby train station which has an international ATM.
