Barbara was great to communicate with. Everything was just like described and more. We transported donations to the area and were there for two nights. The price was right, the house was beautiful and the host was wonderful. Will definitely keep this place in mind when we return.

The place was exactly what we needed. We came in to help with power after the storm and this cabin was our place to relax in the evening.

It’s the perfect secluded setting with amazing views, daily wildlife sightings and a home that feels warm and inviting. It was the perfect Thanksgiving getaway. Thanks Tamra, 10/10!!

My friends and I had a lovely experience at this Airbnb! The view from the back porch is stunning, the location was private but not too far away from downtown Ashville, and the hot tub was a nice way to unwind from traveling. I would recommend this spot to anyone!

Amy and her husband are very friendly. It’s a very peaceful place as I lived in South Carolina and I travel up here to work for the time being I love studying at her place. This is the second week that I stayed. I will be staying there more. I enjoyed myself very friendly to talk to and she makes beautiful pottery, but as her place it’s sparkly clean very comfortable and warm and there is a local sushi restaurant and a pizzeria that I ate at that I haven’t enjoyed and will visit again.

Great place to stay and very quiet. It had everything I needed. Clear check-in instructions, and it was easy to come and go without the host needing to be there. Very clean! I will stay there again when in town.

This was a great place to stay for my fiancé and I and our three doggos in tow for our engagement shoot. Even though it was downstairs from the host’s main living space, they it felt super private! We felt right at home. The host is super nice and responsive and everything was clean. The hot tub was so nice to come back to after our engagement shoot and gave us some nice time to relax with each other. Easy access and everything felt super cozy! We would definitely stay here again if ever coming back to the area :)

It was a wonderful relaxing stay. I wish I could have stayed longer and had a chance to explore the area more. comfy bed and soft leather chair by the fireplace. note: house is allllll the way up the mtn so keep going in you are arriving after dark. the house is at the end as far as you can go up.

Family of 7 had plenty of space and plenty to do during our stay. Very close to Hately Point skiing and snow tubing.

We would 1000% stay again! We barely left the home because the views and the comforts were perfect for a vacation. They have every amenity you could ever ask for. There were appliances in the kitchen that we never used but we were impressed by alll of the options. The beds are comfortable and it’s easy to feel at home. As for the driveway- it is quite steep and looks intimidating but people that have experience driving on mountain roads will be totally fine! I made it with my Honda Accord. Book your stay, you won’t regret it!

A great host with a really interesting property

My friends and I had such a relaxing four day stay at the cabin. We had coffee on the porch, did puzzles, sat around the bonfire. Easy access to the city. Beautiful location. Excellent communication with the hosts!

Rick was very helpful when I got into Spruce Pine. He helped me locate the cabin, helped with my equipment and helped me when I fell into hard times with my vehicle. Very nice and helpful!!

Micah's owl's nest cabin was pretty dreamy! From the main features to the details, this cabin is well curated. It's tucked away enough where you're able to experience the sense of seclusion, but still super close to downtown Burnsville. It's also nearby the Burnsville's water treatment plant, so the water quality and water pressure is superb!
