Had a wonderful stay in this cute, cosy annex. Particularly enjoyed the superb hot tub, the beautiful area of Bedale and all the little touches that Andrew provides. Lovely to get prosecco, biscuits, water and crisps on arrival, plus fresh milk in the fridge. Every last detail has been thought of...dishwasher tablets, crocs and robes for the hot tub, toiletries for the shower, teabags, and even flavoured syrup for your morning coffee! Thank you Andrew for hosting us, we had a great time.

We had a lovely stay in the milking parlour, check in was easy no messing around the cottage was ready for us when we arrived, the space is much bigger than it looks too. The cottage had everything you needed and a lovely open fire also, we used the shared hot tub every day it was absolutely lovely. The area is very remote which is lovely however for a week with 3 young children without having to drive 30 mins there wasn't lots to do but we were lucky with the weather so for us was brilliant if it was cold and rainy however I'm not sure it would've been the same. Whilst there we visited the roman fort, hadrians wall, walked into the local village, visited talking tarn country park where they had Mini golf and you can hire boats, we went to fairhill recreation ground that was a brilliant park for all ages and the dog loved it too! we also visited rowleys for raspberry picking which the kids even my 21 month old daughter absolutely loved! Loved this little place and will be back

We had a brilliant stay at Hannah’s place, a comfortable, clean, well-equipped cottage within a (steep!) 10 minute walk of Richmond’s town centre. Despite the weather we managed one night of hot tub stargazing, which was a real treat. We managed to find everything we needed, and Hannah was a really responsive host, being proactive with welcome instructions, and quick to message back. Thanks for a great stay!

Just had a fantastic stay at Ivy cottage. Jane was a brilliant host with plenty of info on arrival. The cottage is so comfy and cosy. Added bonus having the games room, will 100% be back. Thanks Jane.

We had such a lovely stay at The Nest - the place is super cosy and perfect for a relaxing get away. Everything was super easy, from communication to check in/out and finding the place. Great location and beautiful setting. Hot tub was fab! We had dinner at The Wellington Heifer one night which is a 10 minute walk away and would recommend.

We spent Christmas here and it was perfect. We felt at home as soon as we arrived , it’s a beautiful house absolutely stunning the garden the hot tub everything was just lovely. They had thought of everything and made our stay just magical. We would stay again in a heartbeat. Alyson and James are great hosts super helpful and friendly. The house is in the perfect location close to town, shops, restaurants and local sites. We cannot recommended highly enough our stay was just amazing. Please don’t hesitate to book a stay here you won’t regret it we promise!!

We had a lovely welcome from Judith. A beautifully furnished cottage warm and cosy a pleasure to stay. We loved the cake, fresh farm eggs and Archie and Ralphie appreciated the doggie treats we will be back. thank you.

We absolutely loved our little stay at The Woodshop. Lovely and clean, loved the decor, great attention to detail. The bed was so comfortable and we loved the cozy fire. The hot tub was the icing on the cake!! We will definitely return in the summer.

Lovely cosy cottage. Easy to find and has everything you need. Jenny is kind and helpful and nothing is too much trouble. The cottage is well equiped and the area is beautiful. So quiet, peaceful and relaxing. Will definitely book again . Alison Crampton xx

This is a top rate Air B&B It was easy to find parking was right outside the front door. It was very clean and well appointed. There was a nice selection of items for breakfast. All in all it was a very pleasant stay and we wouldnt hesitate to recommend it.

Absolutely perfect, location, the property, the customer service. The photos didn’t do it justice. Just wish we’d booked a longer stay!!

Lovely out if season short stay, cottage was perfect , extremely helpful hosts and so much more to explore at a later date. Would definitely recommend as access to so many places

What a fantastic place !! The cottage may be situated alongside a busy road but all is forgiven when you enter the house. A very homely lounge and an exceptionally well equipped kitchen/dining area. The bathroom is very spacious and spotlessly clean with a great shower/bath. The main bedroom has an enormous bed and comfortable beyond belief !! The smaller room has two single beds with a great view over fields. A true gem of a find and would recommend to anyone looking for either a short or long stay. Thankyou Steve and Lynn

Relaxing cottage in a pretty village worth exploring, friendly hosts, and good accommodations. I had a very good time in Knayton.

Abbey Hill Cottages to high above W. Hartlepool. They are well equipped.Beds are comfortable and so is sitting room furniture. Plenty of hot water. Good shower.Lots of space. I would stay again.

My partner and our dog had a lovely August bank holiday stay in Bridge Cottage. It was perfect for some walking, pub dinners and seeing the local sites. Mandy was super quick to respond with questions and the breakfast hamper we ordered was delicious! It kept us going all weekend. We’ll definitely come back to explore a bit more of the local area as it, and the Grange, are lovely.

we were extremely happy with cottage, very beautiful and very well equipped. we loved our stay and would recommend to everyone if you are considering a visit to this area this is the place to stay. well done Sue keep up the great work

What a stunning little cottage. Great space for me, hubby and our dog. The cottage has everything you could possibly need and more. It was very comfortable and cosy and the attention to detail is amazing. The welcome basket was an added bonus and very much appreciated. It was just a 5 minute walk into the centre of Bedale and it has everything you need.

Mark’s cottage is a lovely, peaceful place, situated in a lovely little village, the cottage is nice and cosy, with everything you could possibly need to enjoy a short or long break, we usually take one of our Nespresso machines with us so it was a pleasant surprise to find one provided, along with some treats as well, a lovely touch. The main bedroom upstairs was very comfortable, with a lovely big bed. The stairs are quite steep but easily manageable. All in all we had a great time and would love to return and stay a bit longer. All communications with Mark were answered promptly, and Mark was proactive and friendly. Thanks Adrian & Lisa

We loved staying at the cottage. It was the perfect getaway from our busy lives. The cottage was clean, cosy, and in a beautiful setting. The beds were comfortable with lovely linens. We enjoyed lighting the fireplace and having a cup of tea after a day of exploring. We will definitely stay here again. Thanks Phil!

Two night stay, nice property, clean, comfortable and tidy, good hot shower, comfy bed, good to have (needed) off road parking but a bit tricky getting through the narrow drive entrance due to neighbours parking closed by. We didn't use the cooker or microwave but they looked fine. All positive reviews in the guest book.

Absolute gem! Pristine and beautifully decorated in a perfect location. Curious about the Glamping with Hot Tubs and the other plans so am going to follow Mowbray Cottages online as definitely recommend and will go back. No faults, everything perfect - relaxing break, great WiFi so kept on top of work no issues. Excellent shower - and the half stable door meant we could watch the horses and felt like we were in the field with them!!! Do it folks, it's just perfect. Went to market in Northallerton, nice restaurants and coffee shops there also Thirsk. Worth the drive to Whitby, also checked out Scarborough and Filey to make the most of the day!
