We came to Bar Harbor for the MDI Marathon, and this ended up the perfect location, just two blocks from the start line. Price-wise it was comparable to any hotels for the four of us and the full kitchen helped us save some time and money by prepping most of our own meals. Having laundry was a huge plus for a longer stay and being able to pack less. Everything was well-maintained and Sara gave us great info and local recommendations before our stay. Would definitely recommend!

We are a family of five with three teens. The space was perfect for us to all hang out together and play a board game at the dining table, as well as spread out and have plenty of down time in our own rooms. I thought it was a nice touch that the front door was open and the keys were in the kitchen. Great to have bathrooms in each of the rooms. When we were planning our trip, we weren't 100 percent sure if our pet care person was going to be available, and Sarah was very responsive and flexible with us asking if we could add our dogs at the last minute. We didn't need to bring them, but it was so helpful to know that we could. We bot a huge box of pastries from Clark Point Cafe, and we would have gone back and sat down for a full breakfast if they had been open on our second morning. I guess that gives us an excuse to come back! The back yard view is private and beautiful. So much to like about our stay. Hard to fit it all in here. Thanks to Sarah and her family for everything.

Our group was extremely happy to find this gem for accommodations for the Wharf Rat Rally! We had 3 1/2 couples in our group and there was plenty of room for all of us and our gear. It is located realtively close to Digby and the ride to and from was absolutely wonderful! We were happy to find plenty of rooms, a fully stocked kitchen, 2 spacious bathrooms and a diningroom large enough to fit us all. The property and views were beautiful as well. It was a great place to relax after a long day of riding. Last but not least, our hosts were amazing! They made sure our stay was the best! Thank you for the wonderful stay!

Our family (2 adults, 3 kids) stayed here for a week at Christmas and it was a lovely place. It was not only very comfortable and had everything we needed, but was also extremely well kept and clean. It is a convenient location that is easily walkable to the grocery store (even in a snow storm!) and everything else in Bar Harbor, too. If you have kids, it is also just down the street from a nice local playground. Would be a great location for a family or group at any time of the year.

My family had a great time staying here. Very quiet and private and warm during winter storms. Host was quick to plow the snow in the driveway. The ride into town is about 20 minutes and there's a lot of wildlife on the way. We found a lot of antiques at the stores and malls around town. The beds were the most comfortable beds I ever slept in. The sectional couch was very comfortable. We would definitely stay again.

"From my daughter: This is our 3rd trip to Acadia National Park, but the first time at this Air B&b. Originally it was supposed to be for 5 of us, but 3 couldn't make it, so it ended up just being my husband and I. The Air B&b is in a remote enough area that it is nice and peaceful, but still an easy 20-30 minute drive to almost anywhere on Mt. desert island. The house has so many thoughtful touches, like an area outside for a campfire, supplies for smores, basic seasoning and condiments, all the light switches labeled (so thankful for that!), etc. We did a grocery run our first day and came back to the house for almost all our meals. This was a cozy place and we'd recommend to anyone visiting Mt. Desert Island and would return here again if we come back in the future."

Marta and Jons place is perfect to getaway from the city. Located minutes away from the beaches, you get to enjoy the serene seaside without driving too far. They are an awesome host with clear instructions from the get go. The house was clean and adorable, has all the amenities you need for a great stay. Thanks Jon and Marta!

lovely family home. Had every thing you would need. rules are explicit. it may be helpful to know that the one bathroom is on the second floor.Although family is not in the area, they were responsive in a short period of time. I would not hesitate to stay here again.

We very much enjoyed our stay at Shawn’s place. The location was great and we would definitely stay there again. The delicious welcome gift of baked goods and coffee was very thoughtful and appreciated.

We enjoyed our stay at the Duck Cove Apartment. The Apartment was warm and comfortable and the location was peaceful and picturesque. It was a good base for our hikes at Acadia National Park. Nancy welcomed us when we arrived and was a responsive and friendly host. We enjoyed beautiful sunrises and moonlight on the water from the living room. It was a nice place to stay!

We stayed at Norene's for a couple of days and we loved it there! the space was very cozy, felt like a home. It had all the amenities, the kitchen was particularly well stocked with coffee, sugar, creamers, etc. We had a bit of a trouble with the lock at the beginning but it was our fault and Norene was very helpful and very friendly helping us. The place was super well located and the area was very lively due to halloween. All in all, would recommend!

This duplex was very well located. We could walk to stores shops and restaurants. We particularly enjoyed Gaylyn’s and Geddy’s. Most importantly we were a short drive to all of the trail heads in Acadia. The space was clean comfortable and there were even snacks and coffee pods. Communication and instructions were clear. We would stay here again.

Nice and huge place. Good location, but not the best location during the winter as everything seems closed nearby. But would recommend during summer time.

I can’t say enough good things about this place! The location was amazing. Right off Main Street and totally walkable to anything in bar harbor with a parking space! It was on the right side of bar harbor to get to Acadia within 5 minutes. We loved all of the restaurants close by and the access to the park. The place was so comfortable and cozy! Beautifully decorated and warm after cold hikes in the park. We did not hear any noise at all from the hospital which is tiny compared to the hospitals in Virginia. I didn’t even notice it was there. Brianne was so kind and responsive and recommended lots of good hiking and dining options. I can’t wait to come back here again! If I could give this home 6 stars I would and I am usually a picky reviewer! We will definitely be back to the same house if we come back to Bar Harbor, which I hope we do! It’s a great base for exploring Acadia! The kitchen was well stocked and the bedroom was very comfortable. Thanks so much for sharing with us!

Great place, nothing to complain!

Absolutely lovely home very close to Acadia! It was more than enough space for my husband and I, and had everything we could ask for. The views were gorgeous!

We were very happy start to finish. The location was just so unique and incredible. Right on a working marina, but very quiet. Plenty to see and do nearby. Walk across the pier and buy live lobsters. Christie was extremely helpful and quick to respond when asked. Condo was very well done with plenty of touches to make it homey. A good value! If we come back to Maine, we’ll call her first.

The location of the condo is perfect if you are looking to stay in Maine to explore Acadia. The condo itself is minimalist but completely adequate. The indoor swimming pool and amenities at the clubhouse are perfect for anyone with kids and/or rainy days! The views were beautiful off the deck. I would definitely stay again!

The home was even more comfortable, modern, and clean than the photos made it look! My friends and I absolutely loved our stay. Very spacious for a group of six and the location is great if you’re looking to explore Acadia.

This is the second time we've stayed at this spot - we enjoyed it so much that we went back for more! We really enjoy the location just on the edge of town - quiet and easy walking distance from everything. The home is lovely and Brian is a wonderful host. We'd stay again - and probably will!

Christine's place was perfect. Everything was clean. it was easy to get into. The beds were very comfortable. I would definitely stay here again.

Well-equipped with guidebooks, kitchen implements, extra pillows, bikes, even a lobster steam pot! We lacked for nothing. Loved the photographs throughout the condo showcasing Acadia NP. Especially loved the map on the wall showing what islands we could see from the balcony. Neighbors were quite friendly & gave several good restaurant recommendations. Peaceful & quiet side of the island allowed for restful sleep each night such that I wasn’t tired after our vacation.

Beds and furniture were comfortable, it was clean and basic amenities were all stocked well! Great location for walking into downtown Bar Harbor, but also great location for driving into Acadia National Park without having to go through downtown!
