Lovely old house with old style furniture. We stayed in winter and were able to use log fires in 3 downstairs rooms. Plenty of wood was provided for this. House was warm despite very cold weather. The one downstairs bedroom was perfect for the elderly man with us. The hot tub was lovely and clean and sheltered. Easy to miss entrance to driveway as there are a few Branxholme properties and Branxholme Knowe is just around a bend. However we spotted it as we overshot and could easily turn back. Good location as in the country but 5 minutes to Hawick and shops. Overall wonderful place to celebrate my birthday and retirement with the family. I would certainly consider returning to this house in the summer and make use of the BBQ and explore the area.

Couldn’t recommend enough. We stayed for a weekend, 5 adults and 5 kids. The house is well equipped and has modern kitchen and bedrooms. All the instructions for when you arrive are really easy with no problems. Definitely would stay again.

Second visit here. Very handy location for us visiting family nearby. But in general, lots of nices places to visit nearby. peaceful and pituresque!

Lovely spot that was perfect for our family. Views from nearly every side over rolling hills (very peaceful), easy walk to town and nearby trails to hike. Wasn’t far at all to places like Kielder Forest, Hadrians Wall or even Newcastle. As we stayed over Christmas, the hosts decorated the house to really make us feel at home! Would definitely stay again.

Had a lovely stay at Secret Lodge. The lodge was really comfortable, beds were amazing and there was everything that you need to enjoy a relaxing few days. Ben was in constant contact, making sure we had everything we needed. Otterburn is a great base for exploring Northumberland and the Scottish Borders. A lovely couple of days!

WHAT A BEAUTIFUL HOME! This is probably the BEST place we have ever stayed in with Airbnb. The house we spotless and everything was so well provided for. They even had hot chocolate for kids and really good coffee options for adults, pasta, rice, so many canned food options and oats and what not. Fully stocked kitchen! For kids, they had lots of toys and books. The kids room was the highlight - they had really amazing books nicely laid out as well as a wonderful very clean kitchen set for kids to play with. It really felt like we have just walked right in our home. The playground was the cherry on top. Kids loved climbing and swinging. They even had bubble sets and outdoor playset for the kids and a BBQ set for those who wish to try their hand at BBQ. Can't recommend them enough. Our family of 8 had a great stay and we loved every minute of it. Wished we stayed longer here. We will definitely stay here if we come back to Edinburgh!

Fantastic place to stay, easy access to local sights etc. The accommodation was like home from home, had everything needed and was very clean. The log burner was well used during our stay and without doubt we will be rebooking for the summer. A truly great place to stay.

We booked The Corses due to proximity of our family and we are very familiar with the surrounding areas. This will certainly be our 'go to' holiday home in the future. The house was immaculate, well laid out and suitable for my husband who has limited mobility. We had family and friends visit who were all equally impressed. Our little dog Muskie absolutely loved roaming the secure garden. Emma was such a lovely friendly, helpful host and extremely approachable. The house was well stocked with necessities. The variety of bird life in the garden was amazing and having the conservatory to sit and observe whilst dining just felt very relaxing. To top all this the log burner was so welcoming in the evening and even set for us on arrival. Thanks to the excellent hospitality we arrived home after our 6 night stay very relaxed Thanks Emma
