The place was just perfect for a short get-away from the city. Walkable to the beach. You can even see the ocean. Walkable to a good coffee shop, and restaurants. The kitchen has basics, so we could make breakfast. The family upstairs is definitely loud, and I don't think there's much insolation, because you can see the washing machine running, and people showering. Also when it's windy the whole house squeaks. But a couple of earplugs solved that, and the proximity to the beach more than makes up for it. The hosts are also very friendly and responsive!

We had a lovely stay here to celebrate a friend's son's bar mitzvah. There are not many options in the area, so we felt lucky to find such a lovely place. It is convenient to Ossining or any of the surrounding Hudson River communities. The property had a gorgeous view of the Hudson, which I enjoyed while sipping my morning coffee, as well as plenty of outdoor space to enjoy the natural landscape. The interior had plenty of space, multiple places to sleep, as well as multiple social spaces for relaxing. The space was attractively decorated and the living space included comfortable couches, working space, and a well-appointed kitchen. We especially enjoyed the thoughtful amenities like coffee and fresh creamer, eggs, and bagels. Thank you so much for the great accommodations! We really enjoyed ourselves.

Pros: Great for those who want to explore NYC without paying city prices to stay. Each room had AC, place was spacious, and the skyline view a street over was gorgeous! Bus stop was around the corner, or close walk to ferry to get into NYC. Local stores/ coffee were a short walk away. Parking pass for free parking was a huge bonus. Con: Beds/ pillows were not comfortable, but fine for just a couple nights sleep.

The place was beautiful. And was a great location for what we needed, we were visiting friends nearby, and able to drive into the city. There is a train right by the house if you need it. My only complaint is, if you’re not used to having people live above you, at night you can hear lots of walking around and could be pretty loud at times. We were able to drowned out noise pretty easily with our kiddos sound machine. The house is gorgeous and very clean, the outside deck is a great addition to the space. Unfortunately it was pretty rainy while there, but still a beautiful lookout. I would definitely book again.

We had a wonderful stay at Hasan’s place. I would recommend this place to others. Hasan was very nice and offered recommendations and assistance when needed. We would book here again.

I was looking for a comfortable and quiet place to rest after a surgical procedure. The apparment offered exactly that. It was cozy, extremely clean, welcoming, and I expressly appreciate that it had everything we could possibly need, up to a couple of spare toothbrushes. Added to this, every morning of the week we spent there, we received a nice greeting note from Nikerlange or Clark asking if everything was ok. I will definitely save this place in my preferred list for my next visit in the region. Thank you for your hospitality.

The place is beautiful specially for night city view . Quite place . House is very clean everything and host is very friendly and respectful and responsible. I recommend it’s best for summer because you can enjoy river view on board and fresh air . Winters it’s very cold for close to river for air . We had fun and we enjoyed. Pretty quiet place. Lovely . We enjoyed our short stay. Got to visit friends and family. Loved the Hudson River view along with barges on the river. Watching the freight train on other side of the river. Plus local train on our side View of Bear Mountain. Peace quiet loved the privilege of not having a town, therefore no noise. Short commutes to nearby villages Laura ‘s uncle greeted us upon arrival and was super friendly also pointed out Eagle nest with her2 babies. We would differently visit again.

Very nice and cozy place with an amazing lake view! We had a great peaceful stay, really enjoyed the fireplace, bbq and everything. Laura is an amazing host, proactive in communication and super responsive. Highly recommend!

The walk from the street to the entrance door could be challenging for someone with physical limitations, and the room air conditioners were a little loud, but everything else was wonderful. The outside of the house does not represent the beautifully remodeled interior. Kitchen had all modern necessary appliances, cookware, utensils and dinnerware. Bathrooms were stocked with towels, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, hair dryers etc. Modern washer/dryer in the basement. Great sunrises and lake view from the front deck. Children enjoyed fishing from the dock and sharing the 2 provided double kayaks. 10-15 minute drive to public beach, boat rentals, dining and groceries. 30 minute drive to Legoland.

We had a wonderful winter weekend stay here with our toddler. The hosts left out toys that were perfect for our kiddo and kept her entertained all weekend. The space is comfortable and kitchen well-equipped. We would definitely come back again, winter or summer!

Jose was a great host—very responsive and proactive. It snowed the day we arrived, and Jose made sure the snow was cleared so we could fully enjoy the place. I will definitely be looking forward to coming back.

We were having our bathroom remodeled and needed a place that could accommodate 2 adults, 3 kids ( under 5) 3 pets, and be within driving distance to our kids school. Thankfully, Adel's house was the perfect fit! I loved the kitchen. The river behind the house was a beautiful bonus. The house was very clean. Also, we liked the bidet and ended up getting one installed in our bathroom at home. If we need to stay somewhere nearby again, I'd definitely look to see if Adel's home is available.

David was a phenomenal host! His hospitality was great and his accommodations for my guests were exactly what we were looking for. I would recommend David to anyone looking for the beach front oasis.

The condo is spectacular and the host was very gracious and helpful! Note: there are alot of stairs to climb. We were unaware of this prior to checking in and my mother was unable to make it up the stairs due to her recent hip surgery. So please note there are stairs and it's not handicapped accessible. Otherwise great stay! Thanks!

If you are looking to explore New York for a few days or longer then Jay's place is great. Just a few minutes from the Long Beach station, Penn or Grand Central are about an hour away on a direct LIRR train. You will save $$$ by staying here compared with Manhattan. Long Beach is a safe, full of interesting shops. The 10km boardwalk is just a few minutes away. The apartment of character in a listed building full of charm. Loved the well stocked kitchen and would not hesitate to come back again.

This is the third time we’ve stayed here and it was great as usual! Joe was responsive and helpful. The room was clean and easily accessible. We will definitely be back at Joe’s place!

Gerry & Arlene were great hosts! They helped us find a location that fit our needs (walkable to the ski slopes). (We thought we originally booked a place right at Mountain Creek, but it ended up being across the street - so definitely a bit of a walk, but still not too bad.) We were celebrating our son's 13th birthday and the condo was perfect. The location allowed us to snowboard all day, come back to have pizza and birthday cake, then go right back on the slopes until closing. (We also left two pairs of our snowboard boots there...and they were extremely helpful in getting these back to us!)

Always a pleasure to return! My parents stayed this time and enjoyed a “staycation” They were able to relax and enjoy every moment!!!! The number one place to stay in Sussex NJ!!!!
