Our host, Jillian, was kind and always responsive to any questions we had along the way. If you stay here you will be delighted with the home’s soothing atmosphere. For the past five years, we’ve celebrated Melissa’s birthday at Swan Lake, and it has truly become a cherished tradition. Vern is always a wonderful host, and his thoughtful touches make each stay special. The peaceful setting, cozy atmosphere, and beautiful views make it the perfect place to unwind. Every visit is filled with great wine, incredible food, and plenty of games—exactly what a getaway should be. We love coming back year after year and are already looking forward to the next one!

Would definitely stay again if in the area. would recommend this place to anyone. Not only is the house adorable and cozy, the waterfall outside is stunning. Suzi is a great host, with the best directions, I have never been provided woth such detailed directions and it just made check in and the entire process seamless and so easy. It can be hard to find a place that allows pups, but this hidden gem does and you don't have to settle because it is lovely.

This was a a great place to stay for a week with our dog. The walking trail was fun and the property had interesting decorations along the path and in the cabin. The location was close to York, a nice dog park, and Shrewsberry Market. Would love to return in the future!

Everything with the house was just great. The house and exterior were clean and free of clutter. We had a short stay for opening day fishing weekend. Easy access to the river for fly fishing and just downstream from the Allenbury. We even caught a few nice sized trout in the creek right in front of the house. Short drive to other sections of the Yellow Breeches Creek. Would definitely book the house again in the future.

I have been a fan of vanlife and tiny living since 2018 in high school. This was the first time I got to experience staying in one. I booked a quick 2 day getaway for me and my partner to re-connect. It was STUNNING. The decor is so friggin cute. It’s a beautiful loft with a homey farmhouse vibe that made us feel right at home. There wasn’t much bad at all lol, I would 1000% book again. The Good: -fairy lights downstairs & outside -stocked kitchen -emergency essentials -extra blankets -firepit -heating & ac on demand (Honestly they had everything we could think of. Even a BEAUTIFULLY detailed book about everything in the house and places to go outside the house with so many menus for takeout) The Bad: - shower got freezing cold randomly every time we showered (it’s a tiny home, so it’s to be expected) -advertised a tub but we didn’t see one (i assume it was taken out) The only thing that would make this place 11/10 is a hot tub lol.

This was our second visit to The Oasis, and it was just as wonderful as the first! Tonya is a kind and responsive host, and the property is just as the photos and descriptions show - and the experience of it is even better! The instructions are clear and helpful, and everything is well stocked and labeled. We've made some great family memories here!
