Our stay at Susan’s cabin was absolutely perfect! The cabin was cozy, beautifully maintained, and had everything we could possibly need for a relaxing getaway. It was the ideal retreat for two, with thoughtful touches that made it feel like home. One of the sweetest surprises was the delicious homemade muffins waiting for us when we arrived—such a warm and welcoming gesture! Susan was an incredible host—responsive, kind, and truly went above and beyond. When we were leaving, our car wouldn’t start, and she and her husband came right away to help us. Their kindness and willingness to assist made a stressful situation so much easier, and we’re so grateful. The only small thing was that the WiFi was a bit slow, but honestly, it didn’t impact our stay at all. If anything, it just encouraged us to unplug and enjoy the peaceful surroundings even more.

Chubb Hollow was the perfect getaway for our joint bachelor/bachelorette cabin weekend. The pictures really don't do it justice. It was the perfect space for our party of 11 adults with plenty of extra room for a larger party. Almost every room has it's own bathroom that are all stocked with the essentials including soap and shampoo. The coffee and tea bar was fully stocked and the open kitchen and living room space was spotless and beyond comfortable. If you're looking for a secluded, peaceful, quiet getaway, look no further. We can't thank Eldon enough for a wonderful weekend!

This place was amazing! Even cuter than the photos, clean, well-appointed, and the view was everything I needed…even the firepit and fireplace were match-ready!

Review: We had a fantastic stay at this Airbnb! The highlight was definitely the stunning view of the river—watching the sunrise over the water was truly breathtaking. The surrounding nature was incredible, with plenty of wildlife to admire, from birds to even the occasional fox. The location was peaceful and perfect for a relaxing getaway. The home itself was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped with everything needed for a great stay. The host was responsive and made sure everything was perfect. I would absolutely recommend this place to anyone looking for a scenic and tranquil retreat!

We had a beautiful stay at Mary’s place. It was so homey and perfect for two people. The kitchen was stocked with supplies we needed and the bathroom was too. My boyfriend and I have Verizon and T mobile and we both had minimal service but texts still went through so it was good! There also was equipment to start a fire and a hot tub! Very good experience overall.

My sister and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this peaceful home. Our goal was to get away for a little bit and relax in new and beautiful surroundings, and that's exactly what happened. Everything was clean and lovely and we hope to return again soon so that we can experience this terrific space in the warmer months too. Thank you!

We had a fabulous girls getaway at this cozy cabin! The living room was comfortable for endless hours of laughter as we were able to catch up. The location is close to Hershey for good food and drinks. The cabin is exactly as pictured on the listing

Loved our stay, it was so peaceful and quiet. Lots to do outside on the property to enjoy nature and still lots of stuff to go do close by. The privacy was perfect, and Cory was so friendly and helpful. My husband and I are so excited to come back and stay again in the spring!

We stayed here for about a week while visiting nearby family over Christmas. The location is so quiet and peaceful. Our Golden retriever had a blast exploring the nearby woods with us. The location near Blue Marsh was a plus. The place had all the amenities listed, and Sam was an excellent host. I appreciated the fast wifi as well.

One of the best AirBnB’s I’ve stayed in. The property is so beautiful and secluded, and the house is the best of cozy, rustic cabin and modern amenities (brand new kitchen, sound system, smart tv, etc.). Everything was super clean and well-organized. They had everything we needed for our stay, from cooking supplies to firewood, and even provided snacks and warm slippers. Jessica was very communicative and was an excellent host. Perfect destination for a group trip getaway in the Poconos, would highly recommend!

The space was perfect -- cozy and clean. The area was quiet, the heating system was comfortable, and even though it was a rustic cabin, it was very clean and warm. It has its own entrance, and is set apart from the house, so there is no noise from hosts' activities. The bed was lovely. There were a few streaming options/ROKU. (I discovered that the batteries were dying in the remote my first evening, and there were fresh batteries put outside the door within a few minutes of messaging Angela!) It was a peaceful and rural setting, yet convenient to restaurants/convenience store. It was perfect for what I needed and I would for-sure go back again.

We were in the area for my partners professional training that was about 15 minutes from the home. The entire experience was wonderful. I was able to cook all of our meals in the beautifully appointed kitchen. Waking up to dozens of deer roaming the hillside and seeing the sunrise did wonders for decompression. We hope to return during warmer weather so we can enjoy the local hiking. Don't miss out on this gem.

Great cabin to get out in the country, felt right at home. super clean and spacious

This was the perfect place for my little family! The house is definitely your typical old farmhouse style, which I loved! The kitchen wallpaper is so cute! Amy was amazing and asked throughout the stay if we needed anything or if we had questions. Definitely would stay here again!

This spot is awesome. We loved cooking outside and walking around the trails. Host was responsive and kind. Would recommend!

One goal for our stay this fall was to get away from the world a bit, and the Pamela's comfortable log cabin down the woodsy road did the trick. Although there are other houses around (and I imagine it's a busy place in the summertime), at this time of the year it was quiet, with occasional birdsong and squirrels on the roof. The nights were chilly but we were snug in the main room with the heater on - the outer, all-weather room was another story, but we didn't use it much. The cabin is 10 minutes from the town of Carlisle, which offers places to eat and things to do. The scenery was lovely on our drive to Shippensburg and to Chambersburg.

The cabin was the perfect weekend getaway. Lee Ann and Scott were very kind and communicative. They gave us clear instructions for how to arrive at the cabin and were available to answer questions throughout our stay. Look forward to returning!
