A lovely and quiet location. The home’s design works very well, with the two bedrooms on separate floors, each with a comfy full bathroom. Wish it was not so cold or we would have used the fine second floor porch.

We absolutely loved our stay at the Oyster House. The home was beautifully decorated & in a very peaceful location. Had everything we needed and more. Our pups loved the big yard! Highly recommended and would definitely stay again.

The house is very comfortable and spacious with a nice kitchen and big bathroom. The living room and bedrooms are big. The beds are very comfortable and the backyard was a nice addition. The house is located within 10 minutes driving on local roads to many of the attractions that Norfolk has to offer and also within a 10 minutes drive to amazing restaurants. Adam is a great host and we would stay at this house again!

Until we parked the car and got out, I couldn't imagine how this could be a "bamboo" bungalow. WOW! Could you look at all the bamboo trees? Are they normally found in this part of the world? Seeing so many trees doing such a good job of making the bungalow private was fun.

This house is genuinely cute as a button, every space was thoughtfully put together, from the well stocked kitchen (spices, in a short term! Bless y'all!), to the extremely comfortable beds and living room. It was also a breath of fresh air to know my precious lab was not only welcome, but clearly considered, bowls, a sweet note, and some bags for cleaning up were waiting for us upon arrival. My kiddos adored the smores supplies, and we may have all fought over the peanuts, too. It was so lovely to have beach towels, people towels, and dog towels. I do wish the sitting room had a door, but it was very clearly listed and shown in the pictures, and the way the house / bedrooms are divided, it really did have a good amount of privacy. The screened in porch and the grounds of the house are lovely too, and its such a small thing, but the bird feeder supplied more joy to everyone than I really could have ever anticipated. We'll be back! Thank you so much for sharing such a little gem!

We had a wonderful time staying at the Little House for our Christmas vacation. It was like staying in a bit of history while we explored Williamsburg, Jamestown, and Yorktown. The location was smack-dab in the middle of everything we wanted to see making it super convenient. Spence was a very responsive and helpful host, making himself available if needed. We always have to travel with our special needs house chicken due to her deformity and hand-feeding requirements, which can make finding a property and understanding host challenging. Spence was completely understanding and treated her like any other pet asking us to just keep her off the furniture. We would absolutely stay again if we visit the area.

Absolutely beautiful home. Everything was exactly like the pictures. The weather prevented us from getting to fully enjoy the bay views, but we did get a snippet of how amazing it could be. They had plenty of supplies at the home for our convenience. I would definitely recommend this place to any and everyone.

I had the most amazing weekend stay at this Airbnb! The space was incredibly comfortable, and it had everything we needed for a relaxing time away. What really made the stay special was how accommodating the host was for our dog. They made sure we had everything we needed for his comfort, and there were even some thoughtful dog-friendly touches around the property. The location was also ideal, close to everything we wanted to explore. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking to unwind with friends or family, and it’s perfect for pet lovers too!

This little camper is a true gem on the Chesapeake Bay. Morgan was an excellent host. She was responsive and helpful. We weren't able to hook up to WiFi, but that actually made our stay even better because we weren't distracted. This cozy little camper is super cute and functional. The view is stunning. And falling asleep to the sounds of the waves was incredible.

Our only complaint is we wish our stay could have been longer! Gorgeous views, lovely home and so many thoughtful details for guests. 10/10, no notes. We felt right at home and will stay here next time we’re in the area for sure!

For a single or couple, with a dog in tow, Thomas's apartment is perfect in every way- matched description so no surprises, very easy to get to and access restaurants or walking trails, clean, cozy and many necessities provided. We try to take our sweet Ralph (who is deaf) with us a few weekends a year, and this was an ideal dog-friendly option. The yard was fenced in and easily accessible from the unit. Thomas offered lots of options in the area and was very responsive. We felt right at home and will definitely return!

My partner and I had an amazing time at Victoria's place for a birthday celebration. It was extremely cozy, peaceful, and relaxing. Archer and Marley make the best welcome committee-- we had a great time making friends with the kind animals at the sanctuary. We were a short drive to Williamsburg, where we enjoyed lots of great food options, but we found ourselves missing the cottage and itching to return. There is lots to do on the property such as pool, darts, or relaxing on the L-shaped couch while enjoying a show. During our stay, we didn't have any issues with spotty wifi and were able to binge watch The Pitt without a problem. Overall, Victoria has a wonderful home and is a very thoughtful host. We hope to return soon!

We had a fabulous stay. House was nice, organized and clean. Only thing we personally had an issue with was the noise level of the jet planes. End of Air Force base runway is only 2 miles from house, constant noise all day and night.

This was an AMAZING SPACE!!. Great floorplan, great amenities, and it will be a perfect space for your family. It was clean, spacious, and had everything we needed and more.. The beds, pillows, and linens were very comfortable, and the kitchen had PLENTY of tableware and utensils for the family. My family and I will certainly return.

Richard was friendly and helpful and quickly responded when a smoke detector started chirping. We loved the proximity to the beach even if it wasn’t quite the season and the yard was nice to hang out in. It’s close to a main road but the layout of the yard with the fence and natural beauty made the road a nonissue. The kids loved having games and puzzles and we appreciated magazines about Norfolk and the surrounding areas. The kitchen was well stocked for the light amount of eating we did in the house. We came for the historical sites but we would stay again for beach season!

Charlene is a wonderful and very responsive host. This was our second time staying there when we visit Williamsburg. The location is great and only a few minutes from everything. The house was comfortable and had everything we needed to enjoy our week. We look forward to staying again in the future.

My family had a great stay here. We were able to easily walk to the beach and the house was perfect. Tons of toys and books for kids, too. I’ve already had to promise my daughter that we’d be back to this house, it really is special! Lots of charm and personal touches, unlike what you get from most cookie cutter airbnbs nowadays. Throwback to what used to make Airbnb cool, which we appreciate!

We were delighted with our stay. The location was extremely convenient, the neighborhood quiet and pretty, and the outdoor area was private and soothing. Every possible amenity was provided, including lots of extras. My 17-y.o, granddaughter and I cooked a few meals and even baked her birthday cake. Steff's place was the ideal combination of home and vacation.
