We had such a lovely stay - the photos cannot quite do the beautiful view justice. The house was spotlessly clean, and the perfect size for five adults, a baby and two dogs. The dogs had such a fantastic time running around the garden whilst the adults enjoyed the hot tub! Andrew's instructions were perfectly clear and he was very helpful and responsive during our stay. There are so many beautiful walks in the area. The house is full of modern amenities - the showers are fantastic. Highly recommended!

Debbie is a wonderful, kind and communicative host. We were welcomed with a smile and she talked to us about all the wonderful surroundings such as the pub and nature reserve just down the road. The lodge itself was clean and well presented and the hot tub was absolutely enormous! I’d absolutely recommend the Lincoln Retreat for a getaway and we will certainly be back again soon! We had a great stay. The flat was spotlessly clean with lovely personal touches like fresh flowers and fruit too 😊 we had everything we needed, including tea and coffee, shampoo and shower gel, and freshly laundered towels. Thank you for a very enjoyable stay!

This cottage is idyllic. Really nicely presented, peacocks in the garden, lots of lovely touches like their own eggs and honey. The hosts were kind and helpful. The only downside is that it is very close to the M61, so there is constant traffic noise. If, like us, you live in the country with only sheep and birds to hear, then the background traffic hum is not ideal. If this would not bother you, then it is an otherwise peaceful and lovely place to stay.

A gorgeous stay! Exceeded our expectations. All the nice little touches, like the freshly baked goodies, ample teas, coffees, hot chocolates and marshmallows, really added to the experience. The property is beautifully decorated and had everything we needed for our stay. The location is really peaceful and not far to walk in to Holmfirth centre. We would definitely visit here again!

The room was tidy and the sleeping quarters were extraordinary. My kids said that they had never slept better in their lives until then! The scenery was beautiful and the multiple activities such as the (out of tune but wonderful) piano, playground and solo tennis in the vicinity kept all of us company. The owners were super sweet and let us see the swans and ducks on our last day! 10/10, i would definitely come here again with more family members.

We had a lovely stay for 2 nights at this beautiful and cozy home. It was so well organised and felt warm and welcoming from the moment we arrived. We loved the charming decor and all the thoughtful details. Anthony was a wonderful host- approachable, kind, and very helpful. His clear instructions made everything smooth and stress free. The nearby forest walks were really nice, and the stream running through the woods made it so refreshing. The local people were friendly and helpful. The house itself was such a delight that we can’t wait to come back again. Highly recommend this home to anyone looking for a peaceful and comfortable stay. We had a great stay at Windermere, the flat was spotless and Siobhan was very helpful and responsive to any message. Check in was smooth and the instructions we got to find the flat were excellent! The only thing I would say is the ceilings can be low in places, so for me (5’ 11”) I did find on a few occasions banging my head on the beams, however the cottage was fantastic otherwise, had all the amenities we needed, beautifully decorated, exceptionally clean and a lovely care package in the fridge for when we arrived.

Really enjoyed our stay-lovely apartment with everything you need and lots of little extras that made our stay even more enjoyable. Liz provided us with fantastic directions and lots of helpful information about the apartment and local area. Definitely recommend and we will certainly be coming back!

Wir haben zwei sehr wundervolle Wochen im nördlichen Teil vom Lake District verbracht. Von der Wohnung konnte man viele Locations anfahren. Zum Einkaufen war die Stadt Penrith nicht weit mit dem Auto. Die Wohnung war sauber und es hat alles funktioniert. Wir waren sehr zufrieden, und würden jeder Zeit wiederkommen.

Amazing stay at Jo’s. Great comms beforehand. Excellent, private location in Beeston. A few mins walk to supermarkets, shops and tram stop. Appartment is exactly as listed with everything you need, including tea and coffee. Always responsive and helpful. Have already booked again.

We had an amazing time at this place, it was peaceful and the view is absolutely amazing. The old post house is fully stocked, we felt like every detail was thought about and Mike was a lovely and responsive host. Highly recommend

A really lovely B&B - warm and cosy. Beautifully decorated, comfy bed, spotless bathroom. Everything you needed in the kitchen plus thoughtful extras to make you feel welcome like milk, water, cereal etc. Highly recommend- will be back.

Lovely quick stay at Paul's, super peaceful cabin in beautiful location. Very helpful hosts who greeted us on arrival and walked us down to the cabin and explaining how everything works. Great outdoor kitchen with everything we needed. Dogs had a great time roaming around the space. Definitely a place we'd like to return again to.

I have just got home from my stay and I wish I was still there! Caroline was extremely welcoming, friendly and gave helpful recommendations of things to do in the area. The cabin was absolutely AMAZING! It was spotless, cosy, had everything I needed and more and the location was perfect - so peaceful, with beautiful views. Being able to watch the wildlife, especially the red squirrels was incredible. I honestly don’t think the photos do this place justice, it truly exceeded my expectations and I would say it’s the best place I’ve ever stayed in the UK! I can’t wait to come back!

We’ve just spent an amazing 2 nights here with our 8 year old daughter and we can’t wait to return . It was soo peaceful and relaxing, the accommodation was spotless and had everything we needed. We loved the honesty shop and enjoyed delicious fresh eggs for breakfast, the children’s park was a lovely little addition. The hot tub was pristine and the perfect temperature. We didn’t need to contact the host during our stay as everything was perfect from check in to check out. The bed was soo comfortable and we all had the best nights sleep. 100% would recommend a stay here you will not be disappointed Thank you

Lovely little place to stay, clean, warm and cosy. We did struggle at first to find the place from the road as the sign is quite small but we managed in the end. We had some issues getting the log burner going for the hot tub but Julia was helpful and responsive with this. The bed was very comfy and the upstairs space is cosy. The shower wasn’t warm the next morning but we were only there one night so this was okay. Overall it was a lovely little stay

Loved my short stay here, description is accurate and cabin is lovely and cosy. despite the working farm location it was very quiet and peaceful.
