Lovely location, with a great view and a well kept room, I would highly recommend!

This is our third stay at Monnybrook House and again another wonderful stay. Superb venue with everything you need. Flexibility, great communication and a view of the local alpacas. Friendly neighbourhood. Three great pubs within walking distance but we recommend the Crown Inn due to its great menu and very reasonable prices.

Lovely little place to stay for a night or two, not huge but has everything you need, including a small table and chairs, which I didn't see in the pictures. Beautifully clean and tidy, and a very helpful host who even offered to take us to the restaurant we had booked. Thoroughly recommended!!

Sarah and Andrew were brilliant hosts and the annex was lovely. Walkable distance to Bakewell town centre or a 2 minute drive. We had a lovely 1 night stay, thank you Sarah and Andrew!

Great location and stay. We had a little trouble with the shower but Alan was super quick to take a look and we able to move us to a different property as it couldn’t be fixed immediately. Super helpful and friendly, thank you for having us!

Truly authentic castle, large accommodation - furnishings and decor are in keeping with the castle. Gardens are beautiful. Caroline is very helpful and provided a freshly baked loaf with butter and jam, there was also fresh milk in the fridge. There are teabags and coffee - and a coffee machine, kitchen is small but has everything you need. The bed was very comfortable. We would highly recommend this accommodation.

Carol and Philip are such lovely host, had a really good chat with Philip. The room was as described, easy breakfast things provided such as fruits, tea, coffee, cornflakes and bread for toast. I thought was very thoughtful. Would definitely stay again.

We stayed at Hill View for 3 nights. Molly made us feel very welcome. It was a lovely, clean, warm and beautiful annexe, with amazing views and garden. Molly left a fabulous selction of cereals, milk, jam, tea, coffee and a lovely bloomer loaf for us. There was also a cupboard full of toiletries in the bathroom for our use if needed. The minute we pulled up to the car parking space and entered, we felt at home. It was lovely and warm, great kitchen, bathroom and bedroom. There was everything we needed for a two night stay. Amelia also left us with breakfast bits , milk and juice. Which was lovely to wake up to. We found there was plenty of space and we had a really comfortable sleep. Amelia was very responsive and friendly with messaging and she even left us some home made ginger bread and mince pie 😊 The tram was a 10 minute drive, free parking and easy to get to Manchester City. Tesco extra and amenities are less than 10 minute drive away. We will definitely stay again when going to Manchester.

Me and my partner went and stayed here at nans apartment. Jan is so lovely, very helpful. The apartment had everything you could need and more. We actually spent most of our stay in the apartment and it was just so peaceful and cosy. We will definitely be returning and I can’t recommend it enough!

We found Howee Inn an excellent short stay retreat. Pamela is a generous host supplying everything you need to settle in. Beautiful views. Cross Keys Is a great pub 7 min walk and reasonably priced. Hope to be back for another short stay and try some of the local walks.

Amazing stay for our anniversary. Jo was super helpful and responded to every question really quickly. The pictures don’t really do the place justice. Beautiful grounds, super convenient spot, private parking and the flat itself was brilliant. Cosy, comfy, clean and had everything there for a hassle free stay. We will definitely be using again. We really enjoyed our 1 night stay. The annexe was clean, spacious and tidy and the bottle of Cava on ice was a lovely touch. The accommodation is well situated close to Cheshire Oaks and the Colosseum, along with Chester Zoo and the Blue Planet Aquarium, so serves as a fantastic base for exploring... although you could quite easily spend your time relaxing in the hot tub and enjoying some rest and relaxation. Thank you for a lovely stay, we will visit again.

Perfect stay from start to finish, Liz was really helpful and accommodating and there were loads of nice little touches which made our stay amazing. The place it’s self was the perfect little get away for our short break in the lakes in an ideal location with Bowness centre a short walk with plenty to see and do. Would highly recommend !

Had the perfect weekend here!! Gorgeous little place with lots to do in the area, the house had everything you could need including some very cute sheep outside. The owners were very welcoming and had some great recommendations for things to do.

I have stayed with the Glyn & Lynn for a year now (minus July) and it’s been a real home away from home after mine had been flooded. It’s been marvellous and in a way I shall be really sad to be leaving the Croft family. Everything you could possibly want is here. You will certainly have a wonderful welcome and a very comfortable stay.

Thanks to Chris and Nikki, me and my partner have had a fab weekend away from eating at nice local restaurants to a few cheeky ones in the private hot tub at night, great little spot perfect if you’re wanting to get away from busy towns and city life! Thanks guys, we will be staying again!!

The property was well furnished and very clean in a quiet location and walkable to the Cleveland way and to the town. Paul is an exceptional host not only recommended places but as it was our first time visiting Scarborough took us on a drive around the town giving us the local history and tips of where to go. Thoroughly recommend and looking forward to going back.

Wonderful hosts, lovely place which is cozy and comfortable. A delightful range of "treats" as a welcome pack with lovely fresh bread and jams and wine to wash it down. I highly recommend this super place. Will certainly stay again.

stayed for 3 nights with a 11 month old. Joanna was very kind in providing a travel cot, linen and some little toys for the baby. comms were great and instructions and directions were easy to follow and helpful. beautiful place and accommodation, had everything you need. easy to find, close to the m6 exit. lovely little village with a shop and a pub. very private and you can just come and go without disturbing anyone. lots to see and do in and around the lakes and dales, lots of day trips are around 1 hour drive. thanks jo and Richard for hosting us. we would definitely go again in future.

It was a very lovely and memorable stay. Our children just loved the place. It was so serene closer to the river and house was very cosy. The house had been decorated for Christmas for the host to enjoy the festive feel which was icing on the cake. Would definitely recommend this place and would be visiting again. Jeny
