We had a great time, if anything the pictures don't do the place justice, it's beautiful. Great instructions on how to use everything, we hope to stay here again in the future.

This is our second time staying here and it did not disappoint. It’s a beautiful place to get away.

This place was exactly as described in pictures and words! Very comfortable and full of great amenities. Quiet and wonderful surroundings. Nice hikes nearby. Can’t wait to be back!

If anybody ever wants to get away from the noise of this world, this place is the go-to place! Private, peaceful, and surrounded by nature. One can fully decompress from the outside!

Very cozy place, perfect place to relax and enjoy some peace and quiet for a few days. Internet was a little slow, but it was still good enough for remote work (we didn't try turning video on for our meetings though). We would love to come back here, the hot tub and wood burning stove were great. Chadi was very quick to respond to any questions.

We appreciate the opportunity to stay at your cabin. We thoroughly enjoyed our time there and found the location very convenient for accessing Sugar Bowl. You and your team are quick to respond to any messages or calls. The kids had a lot of fun playing upstairs while the adults enjoyed conversations downstairs. The cabin is very clean and was warm upon entering. We will defiantly stay here again. Thank you for the snacks.

This was such a charming little slice of heaven tucked away in the pines of Nevada city. We had the best time here, it was so cozy and every room was so beautiful. A few of my friends and sister both said they wanted to move in haha. Also loved the yurt that was near the main house, it is absolutely beautifully done and the cute bathroom near by was adorable. There decor around the whole house had us in love, we are big fans of mushrooms and we loved all the little trinkets and mushroom things. Also we loved that it had no tv, just a radio, that way we could just put some music on and just enjoyed each other’s company with no screens. It was a great bonding experience and we will definitely be back to this home away from home. Thank you to the most friendly and attentive hosts, you both made it very easy to stay and helped with all questions. What a pleasure it was to stay in your home.

Our family of two adults and one teenager stayed at The Antler for four nights around New Year's Eve and really enjoyed being cozy at the cabin and using the hot tub. We loved being able to take a short walk to the many shops and restaurants in downtown Nevada City. We also hiked and enjoyed the nature along the South Yuba River and took a quick (one-hour) drive up to go snowshoeing and x-country skiing at Royal Gorge.

Our experience was extraordinary! We loved the location, welcoming and clear instructions, and the space was exceptionally appointed from the design to the small touches. We loved our week at the house and hope to return in the future!

Definitely would stay again. We liked the cabin and nice location. Met our needs. Only wish there was an earlier check in and check out without paying a fee. But then again I didn't ask for an exception.

We were absolutely enchanted by our visit to the Fairy Tale Cottage! The forest is so peaceful… a refuge, really. The grounds are charming. Inside the home, Suzan has thought of everything. Just bring your toothpaste and toothbrush. Thanks again for a memorable stay!

A friend of mine found this place for me as I was leaving my hometown to escape the toxic relationship and drug addiction. I tell you that only in the status of someone out there was like me you needed a peaceful space to be. This should be a spot we all have hard times and there’s no shame in admitting that you have been down and out. Rest assured that you’re not alone and that a place such as this would be a good spot for you to gather your thoughts and be comfortable. Timothy was super cool and flexible with me even when I didn’t know if I was gonna stay an extra night or not and if I ever find myself in a bind and I need to stay there again I would do so without hesitation. Nevada county is a special place and I’m going to be calling at home for quite some time.. I would recommend this place to anyone.

My dogs and I loved our recent stay at Amelia's! You can't beat this location. Downtown is just a couple blocks away with tons of cute shops, great coffee, and food. We hiked a few nearby trails, and everywhere downtown is really dog friendly. The bed is super comfy, and I thoroughly enjoyed the tub & fireplace. Amelia's place is super cozy!

This cabin is awesome. The peaceful wooded surroundings are great, the fireplace is nice and comfy, and there’s plenty to do inside the cabin.

This cabin was so cozy. It was very quiet and the stream is very peaceful. Dante was very helpful and gave us great recs for a spot to see the river. There was everything we needed to cook meals and mother truckers was very conveniently located to grab the groceries we had forgotten (and eggs for $3.99). The bed was also so comfy and the sheets were so soft. We will definitely be back.

My partner and I stayed here, and the first thing we noticed and appreciated was the cleansing crystals at each corner of the cabin. The kitchen has everything you need, with the exception of a microwave which we didn’t mind. Everything was clean, the energy here was airy and light. We could see stars through the skylight in the living room, and the earthy minimalist style made it easy to relax and enjoy our time. Definitely would recommend!

Really enjoyed our stay. Nothing like being in God’s country. The place had everything we needed and Trish was very responsive to any needs we had. Thank you again!

Wow! From the first email communication, mid-trip question response, and simple check out directions Lisa was excellent. The house was easy to get to, beautiful inside, spacious, clean, beautifully decorated, fully stocked with supplies for cooking and baking. The host went above and beyond including a personalized welcome note, some goodies, and even had coffee and hot chocolate. My friend said “I’ve never felt so welcome!”. There were 4 adults and 3 children in our party and there was PLENTY of room for all of us to have our own space. The tri-level configuration is pretty cool but also accessible as the main portion of the house is on one level. Beds/mattresses are comfortable and comforters are nice and warm. Rooms with luggage rack and closet space was appreciated. Everything is well thought out in this house including the mudroom area to drop all the snow stuff on the way in. We enjoyed a day at Kingvale Sno Park and really appreciated that it was only 15 min away.

The Cozy Cabin was absolutely magical! One of my favorite AirBnb’s so far. Really grateful to have been able to stay here with my wife for her birthday. It’s tucked right in the foothills near to the river and is just so beautiful but also only 10-15 minutes away from Nevada City, which is a super cute little town. The hosts were great and helpful and we just loved the place, definitely hope to come back and recommend to everyone 10/10!

Beautiful cabin location for my family trip during the holidays. It was nestled among a creek and woods and it was very peaceful and cozy. Would love to come back in the summer and go kayaking. It was unfortunately raining hard during our stay but we had much to do inside with games, a fireplace and going into downtown to visit the numerous cute shops. Overall loved our stay!

Valerie was a great host! Every question I would’ve had was already answered. She’s very clear and understanding! She also offered many fantastic ideas for dinner in the surrounding area. You can tell that she actually cares about each guest. I’m very fortunate to have stay here. You’d be a fool to pass up on an amazing quiet little place like this, it’s a perfect escape from reality! Also my girlfriend went crazy over your banana bread so thank you extra for that!

The cabin is lovely, roomy, and great for two couples. The kitchen has most of what you might need for general cooking. The location is very tranquil, but it is a bit far from town/restaurants/groceries/etc. Bring what you need and hang out there and enjoy the space.

Our winter getaway at this cabin exceeded all expectations. The warm and cozy atmosphere made for a perfect retreat, with plenty of room to comfortably accommodate our group of four adults and three children. The spacious layout allowed everyone to both rest and enjoy themselves. The surroundings were serene and peaceful. Based on our wonderful experience, we wholeheartedly recommend this cabin.

a unique little cabin, out in nature. clean and cozy! short drive from town. great view of the property from the balcony. the host was very nice and responded to us promptly and courteously. we got frequent visits from the very sassy cat. very comfortable and far enough from the beautiful, historic small town to feel like we where in nature but close enough to enjoy what the community had to offer with a short drive. we will absolutely use this space whenever we are in the area! highly recommended!
