This is the most beautiful villa: well maintained, wonderful hosts, fully stocked with most everything you would need. The location is very good for exploring this part of the island and the views of the sea on one side, and Etna on the other is really remarkable. The hot tub and pool are amazing and the space is very well organized with large rooms and plenty of common areas.

We couldn’t recommend this place more! Exceptional value for money with an unforgettable view that has to be seen to be believed. The house itself is modest but spotlessly clean and very private. Reaching it at night can be a bit tricky due to the narrow roads—prepare for some adventurous driving! Accessing Taormina is convenient if you're up for a bit of exercise: either walk about 240 steps or take a 20-minute drive. This worked well for us, and even the kids enjoyed the walk. Martina’s local recommendations were fantastic. After trying all her suggestions, I can assure you they really made our stay memorable.

This space is amazing and right on the water that you can swim in. Not much to do in the town but a nice space that’s in between some of the bigger coastal cities. For comfort I recommend using the mosquito netting and night and opening some windows for colder air. Overall would stay again.

Vi var to netter hos Tatiana og Giancarlo. Stedet har alt man trenger og Tatiana var utrolig behjelpelig. Vi fikk også tilsendt en brosjyre med nyttig informasjon om stedet og hva Tatiana kunne være behjelpelig med. Stedet ligger fem til ti minutter gange i mye trapper opp til sentrum og gondolen til Mazzaro, og selve villaen ligger skjermet fra byens støy. Det er også et flott bassengområde på eiendommen som man kan benytte om ønskelig. Alt var rent og leiligheten fremsto veldig eksklusiv i møbleringen og innredningen. Det er god og skjermet parkering på eiendommen. Vi anbefaler stedet og hadde et fantastisk opphold.

Sehr freundliche, kommunikative, hilfsbereite Gastgeber. Das Haus ist ruhig und ländlich in einer gated community gelegen. Alles an der Unterkunft ist genauso, wie beschrieben, wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt. Wunderbarer Blick auf den Ätna. Zum Badestrand ca. 10min. mit dem Auto, zum nächsten Supermarkt ca. 20min. Alles Ausflugsziele im Osten Siziliens sind in ca. 1-1,5 Stunden erreichbar. Catania und der Flughafen von Catania sind nur max. Eine halbe Stunde entfernt.

Magnifique villa, idéalement située à une vingtaine de minutes de Catane. Le logement est spacieux et bien aménagé pour les grandes familles. Les hôtes sont réactives et arrangeantes. Je recommande à 100% cette villa et espère pouvoir y retourner une prochaine fois.

The villa was simply stunning! We had the best, most relaxing time. The view was so pretty and special! Sandra was a great host, who made us feel welcome and safe. She replied quickly, and made sure the trip was comfortable for us. The perfect location to explore both Catania, Taormina and other cities nearby. We would 100% recommend. The hairdryer was a big plus! Also all the windows and doors had mosquito netting! Every bedroom had its own bathroom, which was much appreciated (we were 3 married couples). All in all a great experience! Again, 100% recommend❤️

This villa is not a modern hotel but a grand estate reminiscent of the aristocracy of Italy; private, but living within the culture of the surrounding area. The grounds are lush and gated with a very large swimming pool. A car is necessary to get to other cities and/or bus stops/train stations. The GPS on our personal phones was excellent and useful in traveling around Sicily. Our hosts, Francesco and Maria, were warm and genteel. They live on the premises next to the villa so access to their assistance and advice was always available via phone, AirBNB and What's App. The beds are antique and amazingly comfortable - a recommendation would be to have additional pillows available for those who may not be back sleepers. We had 7 women from our bookclub back home and it sleeps 13 so there is plenty of space for a larger group. We would stay at the villa again if we do go back to Sicily. We had a great time!!!!

The location of this stunning villa on the hillside directly overlooking the sea and towards Mount Etna is far more spectacular in real life than it looked even on the comprehensive and accurate listing. Mari and Guiseppe are the most attentive, thorough and delightful hosts and the house has the ambience of a luxurious family home (rather than a rental property) as they use it themselves regularly. We rented the villa to mark my eldest son’s 30th birthday and both our sons accompanied us on this trip to the Catania area where their great grandfather died in 1943 at the Battle of the Sfero Hills. We paid our respects at his grave and traced the place he fell on the battlefield. The beautiful villa is a good base for many Sicilian wonders nearby. Syracuse/Ortigia , Rugusa and Noto to name but a few. Etna was erupting and sadly remained in the clouds in rather unsettled weather but that didn’t detract from an exceptional stay. Outside the city, this location is gorgeous with magnificent views, but it would be hard to travel without our rental car. The hosts were uniquely attentive, communicative, considerate, and generous. I wish I could say the location was quiet and peaceful, but the neighbor's honking geese and relentlessly barking dogs forced us inside in the mornings. That is one of few things we would wish different, in addition to the steep front walkway and stairwell, and complex garbage rules. However, we enjoyed the luxurious pool and panoramic terraces daily. The large overhang by the pizza oven allowed us to even appreciate the rainy days. The spacious kitchen and Sicilian-styled open layout allowed for family dinners and comfortable hang-outs. Brief maintenance visits by Giuseppe and Giulia occurred at 7:00 daily, but they kindly did not enter the house. Any questions were immediately answered, and requests carefully met. Overall, we felt welcomed, cared-for, appreciated, and unfettered.

A great home away from home for the Christmas Holiday. The kitchen was amazing and allowed for us to make all our traditional Christmas dishes. Furthermore, the living room was cozy. The couch was perfect and allowed multiple people to curl up and watch Christmas movies. Additionally, the gaming room provided much needed space for board games, karaoke, puzzles, and reading. The house was immaculate, and our host was absolutely wonderful. We showed up late the first evening and our host made traditional Sicilian delicacies for us to eat. The arancini were delicious. I would 100% come back, especially in the summer so I can enjoy their beautiful pool. 100% recommend.

Amazing Views, Spacious Home, Great Host! We recently spent a month at Concetto's place, and it was a wonderful experience overall. Concetto was incredibly responsive and professional, always available when needed. The home itself was very clean and spacious, offering more than enough room for our family. The view from the house is absolutely stunning, and the pool was sparkling clean with a perfect water temperature — great for both relaxing and swimming. However, there are a few things future guests might want to know. There is no dryer, just a drying rack, which worked fine for us but may require planning for longer stays. Additionally, there’s no outdoor grill or usable outdoor kitchen, which would have been nice to have. Also, keep in mind that walking to the main streets can be tricky. The driveway is very steep and windy, and even after reaching the bottom, there’s another steep hill to tackle. Despite these minor inconveniences, we had an amazing stay!

Me and 6 other friends had a beatiful time at Casa Grande. The home is great for a laid back vacation with lots of relaxation. There's plenty of seating available inside and outside, and because of plentyful lighting you can enjoy it even during the night. The beatiful scenery (sea view, mountain views) and plants really give you the 'Authentic Vibrations' the name describes. We all felt right at home and would describe this as the perfect vacation home. The staff is very friendly and flexible. We had late arrival and a long drive to the home and were greeted with two huge pizza's, which instantly relieved us of all worries, this really shows the hospitality of the host. The location of the house is good, there's plenty of shops and restaurants within 20-30 minutes of driving, however for some of the more 'touristy' locations you have to drive further. This is however always a joy because of the great scenery everywhere. Would recommend for anyone looking for a relaxing vacation.

Lucrezia’s home was just perfect for our group. The view was lovely! Would have loved to enjoy the pool but our weather didn’t allow for that. Lucretia was VERY responsive to all communication! I would recommend his place

Oh where do I start...IF you are a large group this is a perfect stay. We were a group of 8 (4 couples). The house is comfortable and clean. 5 min walk to the subway gets you right downtown, super easy. The pool is a bonus and clean. I can't say enough about the owners. Giovanni and his daughter where there to greet us and handle any questions we had ( I had none!) Now for the BEST part outside of the best hosts ever...Claudia and Carlotta. ;) The dinner is out of this world and is rated #1 with our entire group. Pretty sure Giovanni knows what he is doing when it comes to the word "chef." Communication was responsive and they arranged transportation. Thank you G...C...C you are welcomed in Kansas anytime! xo

One of the loveliest places we have ever stayed; Casa Riva al Mare exceeded our expectations- it was a fantastic location, overlooking the Sicilian East coast, a great base to explore Eastern & Southern Sicily. The sea view, with Etna also in the distance, is beautiful. The villa was very clean & well cared for with our every need thought of by Marianna the host. It has a large private patio area & lovely pool. It's clearly a well loved & cared for place with such arrention to detail. Marianna & her family made us so welcome; a bottle of wine greeted us on arrival, Nespresso & fresh coffee, pool towels - all so thoughtful. Marianna's parents, who live on site, even brought us some delicious gelato one morning. Marianna gave us lots of fabulous suggestions for places to visit, restaurants, even where best to park - invaluable tips that really made our holiday fantastic. We were sad to leave & plan to go back - we would love to stay here again.

Lovely Airbnb in a private compound. Walkable to the little village of Santa Tecla and to a Hotel with a nice Lido. Paolo was a great host and very responsive throughout the stay.

The house located in a truly peaceful and relaxing place, with lemon trees and olive trees around; the house is very beautiful and lovely, with lovely flowers around the garden, and smell really good. Vanessa and her family are very kind and nice, provided us everything we need. It's easy to drive to so many nice restaurants nearby, and very close to several towns and cities. We had a wonderful week here!

Warmly recommended . Confirm what many have written. 5 minute walk to little town has everything for your basic needs. Fabulous cafe on Main Street. Cheese shop that has fresh bursts and mozzarella. House has all the facilities anyone could need on a vacation whether young or old, including a basil plan for salads!! Everything is clean and has been thought of and taken care of. Plenty of space for 9 people. Beautiful gardens and pool. We were sorry we could not take more advantage of pool as weather was not great. The bbq area is unbelievable. Good value if you go with 9 people. Close to Giardini a holiday town and Taormina, which is pretty but full of tourists. Need a car to get around but close to Giardini which has access to all buses and trains. Finally as has been said the owners are helpful and kind and available at all times to help.

Amazing house and super kind owner! You can feel it’s very relaxing, clean and great place to rest. Indeed, you probably cannot get here without a car, and the road is quite challenging. But the house is rewarding you as soon as you open the gate :) I recommend 100%

Giovanni built the place from scratch with a lot of careful details and with guests in mind. Gardens, plants and trees are spectacular. The pool and pool area is wonderful, we swam whenever we were at home. Home is what it felt like. Location is closed to Taormina, the gorge, Etna is only one hour away as is the airport. I would thoroughly recommend Giovanni's villa to anyone considering a trip to Sicily. You will love it here. Thanks Giovanni for taking such great care of us and for your recommendations for restaurants and places to visit.

Das Haus liegt sehr schön mit toller Aussicht. Der Garten mit Pool ist wunderschön. Vor der Haustür ist eine große, liebevoll begrünte Terrasse mit Blick Richtung Meer. Als wir abends ankamen, lag der Schlüssel nicht am verabredeten Ort. Valentina hat aber gleich auf unsere Nachricht reagiert und ist gekommen. Am nächsten Morgen lag als Entschuldigung ein Frühstück vor der Tür. Sehr nett! Was man wissen sollte: die Wohnung besteht aus einem großen Raum, mit Wohn/Ess- und Schlafbereich. Das Schlafzimmer ist nicht separat. Das wird im Inserat nicht deutlich. Für uns war das aber kein Problem.

Wir haben als Gruppe von Freunden hier einen 10-tägigen Urlaub verbracht. Schon bei der Ankunft waren wir überwältigt von der Schönheit von Anwesen und Umgebung: Im wunderschönen Zitronenhain gelegen mit Blick auf die Hänge des Ätna und auf‘s Meer. Besser geht‘s nicht! Langeweile kam nie auf, die Gegend bietet super viel! Ein Auto ist allerdings wichtig. Auch auf dem Grundstück gab‘s immer was zu tun: wunderschöner Pool, Tischtennisplatte, Kicker, Fußball oder in der tollen Küche kochen… und immer frische Zitronen. Maria Gulia und Angelo sind super freundlich und halfen uns oft mit Tipps und schnellen Antworten weiter. Die Villa ist eine absolute Empfehlung!!
