I stayed at an Airbnb located on the 4th floor— A beautiful view, my own rooftop cottage. It comes with 3 bedrooms and a private bathroom. Even though it's on the 4th floor, the host's family—his son—came all the way to where I got out of the taxi and helped carry my heavy luggage. They never asked for a tip, and food, water, and more were almost all offered for free. It felt like a personalized service beyond a 5-star hotel. The host, Saad, was always nearby offering food, drinks, and concierge service with a smile. I came to see the pyramids without any plans, but Saad instantly became my travel coordinator and helped organize everything so perfectly. His kind friend, Azzouz, was my day tour guide. He was kind—and even kinder! Egyptian people are so warm and genuine. I definitely want to come back again. Thank you Saad and Azzouz!! Love you!! Mon séjour fut un moment de plaisir immense. Abdelrahman, ainsi que ses amis que j'ai eu l'occasion de côtoyer durant mon séjour sont des personnes très attentionnées, patientes, gentilles et disponibles. Abdelrahman est non seulement toujours prêt à vous aider et à vous donner des conseils dans l'organisation de votre séjour mais aussi, et c'est ce qui rend l'expérience unique, à partager des moments avec lui. La maison est très bien placée à Dashour et le cadre est magnifique. Située à quelques minutes du centre ville, où l'on trouve cafés, épiceries et restaurants, la maison est aussi située en pleine nature au milieu des palmiers et des fermes. Elle est aussi située près des grands axes de circulation et donc facile d'accès depuis le Caire. Enfin, le logement se situe aussi à une courte distance des pyramides de Dashour, où l'on peut se rendre à pied si l'on est motivé. Au niveau des équipements, le logement est pourvu d'un jardin avec une pelouse magnifique dans lequel il fait bon se prélasser et prendre le petit déjeuner. La maison en elle meme est magnifique et dispose de tous les équipements nécessaires (frigo, canapés, moustiquaire...). Ce fut un séjour magnifique et une occasion de découvrir l'Égypte hors des sentiers battus, ce qui est parfois difficile dans un pays où le tourisme de masse règne en maitre.

Very friendly, helpful and accommodating hosts. Good location only a minutes walk from the pyramid entrance. We felt safe and comfortable here. Good value for money with breakfast and drinks included.

Tal cual se ve en la foto, excelente anfitrión. El desayuno es especial no solo por su presentación, también por el sabor. Siempre prestos ayudar y atentos a responder cualquier pregunta.

This is a great place to stay. You can see the pyramids from the rooftop. People are nice and kind. The driver was very eager to show you places worthwhile visiting!

Had a lovely stay. The view and proximity to the Great Pyramid was amazing…highly recommend. The atmosphere in the home with the kittens and staff on hand was always peaceful and clean, and any questions or needs were readily handled by Hassan, the home manager. We mainly had breakfast in the home and ate other meals out. The breakfast was well prepared and tasty. The same thing was served each day; however, variety was accommodated on request and was equally good. There were two of us renting the entire home so hot water seemed plentiful. WiFi was a bit spotty but we were able to navigate it. We used Mahmoud as the recommended driver and he was the best…highly recommend. For a guide, we used Miriam as recommended by the home neighbor and friend Kareem, and she was equally great. Very knowledgeable and professional. Also, for assisting with a few pictures, she had a good eye and was accommodating and took lovely shots. Overall, a great experience.

تجربة الفندق كانت رائعة جدا..الفندق فخم وجميل ومرتب.. النظافة ممتازة.. الغرفة رائعة.. بوفية الإفطار جميل ولذيذ.. الموظفين في الاستقبال ودودين وممتازين خصوصا الخت هبة كذلك كانت متعاونة ومهذبة .. وبعون الله لنا زيارة قادمة

Was awesome a lot of attractions around and most of the places are with walking distance

G was such a great host. Communicated with us the entire stay&very responsive. The place is great, big apartment, big room, nice balcony and the area is awesome. Totally recommend their stay!

G and L’s place felt homey. My kids slept like babies. The location is really safe with all the embassies around. There are good restaurants ( try Zooba) and convenient stores near by. They also organized a tour for us to the pyramids for a fair price. We had a wonderful time in Cairo. Thanks!

Gasser was very responsive and helpful, the apartment was clean and spacious, the fridge was stocked with water, good location near multiple embassies. Most importantly he set up with the best driver, Marwa, and Egyptologist, Summer. They made it feel like we were there visiting family. Would highly recommend!

I booked the place for its location and it completely delivered on that. It is right in front of the pyramids and I was able to see them from my room as well as the rooftop. The light show was clearly visible from the rooftop and I immensely enjoyed the stay. They helped with a luggage issue I had with the airlines and were helpful in arranging food according to preference.

L’endroit parfait pour séjourner au Caire. Le quartier est central, calme mais vivant. Parfait pour sortir dîner le soir, on s’y promène facilement à pied. L’appartement est chaleureux, bien décoré. Et surtout l’accueil de Martine est au top : nous avons reçu plein de bons conseils pour les visites, les restaurants etc. J’y retournerai avec plaisir si je reviens au Caire !

We took a tour of the Bayt Yakan with Alaa, the owner and architect, and it was beautiful and amazing the work that he and his wife Ola have done to restore the house and also to strengthen the cohesiveness of the neighborhood. There was a very joyous new baby party in the courtyard of local people one night of our stay. To really take advantage of your stay, best to spend most of your time in the outside patio areas or courtyard areas (where you will be surrounded by two cats 😀). Or, spend time in the library, especially if you prefer reliable internet. The apartment was quiet for sleep, and we slept well. The food cooked for breakfast is very good. The same women cooks will make lunch or dinner also, and it is delicious.

La posizione dell'albergo è comodissima per raggiungere, anche a piedi, Khan el-Khalili, il parco di Parco di Al-Azhar, la città vecchia, Downtown e molte altre attrazioni. In tutte le strade vicine si trova dell'ottimo street food. la struttura è spartana ma c'è tutto l'occorrente. Infine, Said e il suo staff sono cordiali e disponibili anche nel fornire informazioni turistiche e organizzare attività guidate. Consiglio perciò vivamente il soggiorno in questo alloggio per chi vuole vivere la città dal di dentro e in maniera autentica.
