A beautiful and spacious apartment with idyllic and private garden plus fully equipped kitchen, in a secure and quiet compound. The hostesses are very friendly and responsive, check-in is flexible. We stayed at this place with our family twice already and would definitely stay again if in Lusaka.

Very nice place, quiet, clean and definitely worth a visit

We absolutely adored this place! The landscape provided a peaceful atmosphere perfect for relaxing. One of our favorite activities was going for walks along the fields to see the sunsets and waking up early to see the sunrises. We also spent a lot of time by the pool, which was very nice! Mandy, Rowland, and Pablo was incredibly kind to us, providing everything we needed as well as showing us their farm and their production. The food prepared by the cook Stanford never disappointed and we were all in all extremely satisfied with our stay! We payed to participate in a cooking class which was interesting and the food turned out very tasteful. We did expect that we would be cooking with the chef, when in reality we only observed him. However, we learned a lot from this and it was a good experience. We were five women in our early twenties staying here for three nights, and we highly recommend this place both to other friend groups, families, and couples of every age!

This was our second stay at Verona’s Sweet Retreat - and as before - the place did not disappoint. . Each of the 4 houses/flats have their distinct colour theme - and sre neatly decorated and furniahed. There is also a really nice outdoor area with green plants and a Nice pool as Well as a common braii + social space - perfect if u want to invite Family or friends. Rabison - the caretaker was extremely helpful, as were two ladies that are on stand-by if you need extra help with cleaning or washing. Really enjoyed our time here. We’ll be back!

I loved my stay at Verona's place. She and her co-host Doreen were quick to respond and amazing hosts. The place has every amenity you need and can think of, sandwich maker, toaster, washing machine and a coffee press too. Highly recommend.

Our group appreciated all aspects of the homes! It was great to have Rabison available every day for anything we needed. Would recommend Verona and this property.

We had a wonderful two week stay at this house. It is a large, pleasant three bedroom house - the master bedroom has an en suite bathroom and a great canopy mosquito net which is very helpful in the rainy season (we sprayed the other rooms for mosquitos before going to bed as they didn't have nets). The kitchen is well equipped with everything you need to cook for yourself, which we really appreciated. The garden is even more impressive - it's huge, beautiful and full of lovely plants and flowers. The house has a nice patio with patio furniture so you can sit or eat outside and enjoy the view of the garden. There's also a braai stand - perfect for barbecuing in the sun. A beautiful, peaceful oasis in the middle of the city. The only issue we had was that the solar power backup system wasn't working when the power went out, but hopefully this will be fixed soon. The house is a 30 minute walk or 5 minute drive from East Park Mall & Arcades Mall on Great East Road, and even closer to Foxdale Mall. There is a caretaker on site, and a cleaner who come regularly, and they were both very friendly and helpful. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and hope to return the next time we are in Lusaka. Thank you!

Kevin is approachable. He is proactive and willing to explain things which are not clear. The place is definitely good value and peaceful.

Super schönes Haus in dem wir uns sehr wohl gefühlt haben. Halvor hat uns im Vorhinein sehr geholfen und Dominic war vor Ort immer für uns da und hat uns mit vielen Ausflügen geholfen.

We needed a place to stay and convalesce in Lusaka for 10 days close to the hospital where I had just undergone a partial hip replacement operation until the Dr gave the all clear for us to return home. Shakespeare Court fitted the bill superbly. When we arrived and found the bed too low and soft they immediately went out and bought a brand new one which was perfectly suitable.

We had a fantastic time on Galloping Waters--excellent service, good food, lovely environment. The staff was very responsive and helpful, and great with the kids (4 kids, ages 10,9, and 6(x2)). The on-deck pool provided for hours of small person entertainment.

Ranga's place was nice, quiet very clean. He was very responsive when needed. I'll be going back again!!
