Fukuchani Inn is wonderful - the staff is pleasant, kind, and very willing to help with whatever you might need. Everyone was friendly and we had a wonderful stay. The Inn is right near the ocean, a quick little walk to a beautiful (albeit rocky) beach, and it's very close (about 15 mins) from Nungwi beach. And the pool is lovely! We stayed in the 2-bedroom Villa and it was perfect for my family, plenty of space and very clean. And of course I have to mention Daisy, the basset hound!! Such a friendly and good girl :) We would love to come back one day - overall, great stay :) Friendly reminder to travelers, Tanzania and Zanzibar often have power outages, and this includes A/C - but they only lasted a few mins each time, and the staff aims to provide as comfortable a stay as possible.

I recently stayed at this lovely villa in Nungwi and had a fantastic time. The villa was spacious and comfortable, with a cozy, welcoming atmosphere. It was perfectly located, just a short walk to the beach, where we enjoyed the beautiful surroundings. The staff were warm and attentive, ensuring we had a great stay. I highly recommend this villa for anyone looking for a peaceful and relaxing getaway in Nungwi.

Ernst ist ein sehr guter Gatsgeber . Er reagiert sofort und Hilft immer .Alles ist sehr gut Organisiert.Die Hilfe vor Ort hat er sehr gut geregelt. Es ist immer ein Ansprechpartner da.Vielleicht mal über ein Notstromaggregat nachdenken......Das Haus liegt direkt am Strand , nur wenige Schritte zum Meer.Absolut Ruhige Lage.Herzlichen Dank für die schöne Zeit dort.

I have been visiting Zanzibar for years. This place is a great. I highly recommend. I hang out pretty late. So have your transportation arranged. Place is a great location, not far from the beach or local night life. In the daytime I had not problem walking to the main road (<5mins) hailing a Boda Boda (Motobike taxi). But it can be an hit or miss.

Väldigt fint och välskött boende . Uteplatsen var som en liten oas där vi kunde svalka av oss efter en dag i solen på stranden. Nästa gång jag reser till Zanzibar kommer jag utan tvekan bo här igen!

We absolutely loved our weekend at David's place! It may hands down be our favourite spot in Zanzibar, where you are surrounded by a tropical jungle with a beautiful view of the ocean. The swimming pool was incredible. My husband and I, together with our kids had a great time! The chef, Ezekiel, and all of the supporting staff were amazing as well. They gave us just enough privacy but were somehow still there when we needed services. We rented the villa for my husband's birthday and so on day 1 we invited a few friends over. David and his team went above and beyond to make sure that our guests were well taken care of also.

My partner and I absolutely loved our stay! The accommodation was clean, modern, and had all the appliances we needed. We were looking for a quiet place and this was it. We basically had the pool to ourselves and Julie was on hand to answer our many questions at the onset. She even provided the first breakfast as well as a huge watermelon and bananas, which was much appreciated. The guards made us feel extra safe, even though it's a very safe area already, and sometimes we got a visit at the pool from the nearby cat or dog, which as animal people we loved. We will most certainly be returning! What a little paradise. (PS Being able to arrange a lift from and to the airport was also really handy.) Thank you so much for a beautiful work-cation/holiday!

Zoe is a pleasant host, she was flexible with check in times and greeted us personally. Apartment is nice, it's close to the main road and boda will take you for 2-3k shillings to Kendwa or Nungwi beach. Wi-fi worked good during our whole stay. Quality of shower is very good. Zoe solved promptly one small problem that we had with stove. She even helped me with some meds when i was sick. Things for improvement: there is water pressure pump for house but sometimes it didn't work, so sometimes pressure was low. Zoe said that she has a plan to change water pump, so i think she will solve it for future guests. As per listing, there are no AC units, but there are ceiling fans in every room. Also washing machine would be nice add on for future guests, although there is a house helper who can wash your clothes for 20k shillings per wash except underwears, that you need to wash yourself. If you don't mind those small cons, you won't go wrong with Zoe and her place.

Super Lage, super Kommunikation und sogar gratis Pick-Up von der Fährstation. Überraschend ruhige Wohnung und wunderschöne Terasse. Einzig die Küche war wirklich sehr klein und mehr für kalte Speisen eingerichtet.. Würden sofort wieder kommen - Danke!

hey, its a great place to stay. ann was very actively involved throughout to make sure we are well acquainted. best part was the pool. ann helped us with all the necessary details around the place like tuktuks, local taxis, tour guide, medical assistance etc. Thanks ann and team 🫶🫶 I would recommend this place and surely visit again.

I enjoyed my week long stay at Petra’s apartment. It was very comfortable and Petra was so kind - always proactively checking in and making sure I have everything I need for the stay. There is housekeeping every other day and laundry service available which was literally done in a couple of hours - wow! She even arranged an airport pick up and drop off at a reasonable price! Truly an amazing host. I did have some issues with cockroaches in the flat and the internet - very patchy but got 5G speeds through a local Yas SIM card instead so could work without any disruption. A note for light sleepers - the local mosque is just outside the window, so ear plugs are a must. Would highly recommend and stay again. Thanks again for hosting me, Petra 🧡

Shazma was a great host, very responsive and generous. My family and I were looking for a private, restful place and we got just that! The apartment is beautifully decorated and a few steps to the pool and playground. Shazma was thoughtful to recommend restaurants. We had an amazing stay and would not hesitate to come back. Highly recommended!

Wir haben mit unseren Kindern ein paar wunderschöne Tage in Fumba Town verbracht! Es war sehr ruhig und sauber! Die Wohnung und der Service von Neema sind super! Wunderschöne Umgebung mit schönem Park, super Pool und das Meer ist auch sehr einladend bei Flut. Einkufsmöglichkeiten, Restaurants alles zu Fuss durch schöne, schattige Parks mit vielen Pflanzen, erreichbar. Super Spielplatz für die Kinder gleich vis à vis der Wohnung!

Stefy waited for me at 4am and sent Rama to fetch me at the airport. She is very lovely and has great great taste for furniture and deco. her space is big and has a lot of character. it's like a travel in time. I loved spending time reading on the porshe at night. the only small down and the internet. A proper router would make the space perfect to work (I has lots of calls). But that's just my special needs.

My 3 week stay at Wanja's place was peaceful and I felt at home. Wanja and the Aura Space Team were always responsive to my inquires and accommodating to my needs during my stay. This was my first visit to East Africa and to Zanzibar so I appreciated each of the dining and sightseeing suggestions Wanja provided. The area was very walkable and I met many friendly locals who helped to make my stay enjoyable. I would stay at Wanja's place again.

appartamento molto curato con due split di aria condizionata, cucina attrezzata, residence assolutamente sicuro, molto curato con una splendida enorme piscina da godere in assoluta tranquillità, con lettini comodissimi e ombrelloni. nel residence vi è una caffettiera dove è possibile fare colazione o pranzo (anche con delivery) a pagamento. Christine ha risposto sempre alle nostre richieste con prontezza e cordialità. WiFi buono che permette di lavorare con un portatile. TV con Netflix . Nell'appartamento abbiamo trovato un bottiglione di 20 litri di acqua minerale a nostra disposizione. Purtroppo non abbiamo potuto utilizzare la lavatrice dell'appartamento poiché era guasta ma all'ultimo piano del fabbricato è possibile usufruire di due lavatrici in comune. Sicuramente Christine provvederà a risolvere il problema per i prossimi ospiti. Ringraziamo Christine per il check out che ci ha permesso di riposare e affrontare con serenità il lungo viaggio di ritorno a casa.

My stay at this place was wonderful! The room was clean, spacious, and equipped with all the amenities I needed for a comfortable experience. The coordinator, Ali, was incredibly helpful and ensured everything was well-organized for a smooth stay. The overall atmosphere was relaxing and welcoming, making my stay truly enjoyable. I highly recommend this place to anyone seeking a peaceful and comfortable experience.

I can't say enough great things about this place, and if we're ever lucky enough to return to Paje we will absolutely stay here again! The place is an apartment in what is really more like a gated community but it's also super close to everything so it's the best of the both worlds - We loved having the pool, communal working space, cafe, parking for our rented scooter, and laundry available and felt super safe because of the security. It was also really nice having a real space to make our own for the week, with a living room + tv, kitchen, and extra bedroom. The beach is a short walk away and there are tons of restaurants on the main the street that are actually better and cheaper then the beach restaurants. If you're only in Paje for a night or two and want to stay steps away from the beach or be right in the middle of the party scene, this might not be the place for you, but we saw a friends room at one of the beach clubs/hotels and were so happy we were staying here instead :)

Wir können die Unterkunft nur empfehlen! Auch wenn man mittig von Jambiani und Paje liegt, finden sich viele Restaurants in der Umgebung. Auch lokale Verkäufer und ein Supermarkt sind zu Fuß zu erreichen. Der Strand ist nicht weit weg, und abgesehen der Algen auch schön. Die Anlage selbst ist sehr grün, weshalb man viel Privatsphäre hat. Und durch zwei Pools ist es auch nie "voll". Das Frühstück war super, mit Obst, Ei, Saft und Joghurt und Paola war immer erreichbar für Fragen. Wir haben über Paola eine Tour und einen Shuttle organisiert bekommen und hatten auch sonst eine schöne Zeit in der Nyumbani Residence. Die Unterkunft selbst hat nur eine Klimaanlage im Schlafzimmer, weshalb manchmal der Wohnraum etwas warm war. Aber das hat uns nicht gestört. Besonders Highlight sind die süßen Katzen von Paola!

The staff was the best part of the stay. They were amazing, especially Dan. The property is next to the beach and in the middle of a village. Seeing the African culture and way of living mixed with paradisiac views…was riveting. Several descent restaurants in the area as well. Will definitely book again.
