We absolutely loved our stay at this charming cabin! It was the perfect retreat for a peaceful vacation. The cabin was impeccably clean, and the beds were incredibly comfortable, ensuring a restful night’s sleep. One of the highlights was the fantastic fire pit area, complete with swings—ideal for relaxing under the stars. Our host was exceptionally friendly and responsive, promptly addressing any questions we had. If you’re looking for a serene and enchanting escape, this cabin is the perfect place. This place was great! It's just as advertised. The place is very peaceful and the host was awesome!

The house was very nice and well taken care of, the WiFi also works very well. We loved the sun set thru the back window everyday and the hot tub was awesome. The water is hard to reach tho because it’s a small bluff but there’s a nice small stair way.

We absolutely loved all of the atmosphere the back yard had to offer. Beautiful, peaceful place. Perfect for a re-charge.

Our 2nd time staying at Cotton Patch Cabin and again it meet our expectations. Very peaceful surroundings,clean with all amenities needed. Troy was easy to communicate with and pleasant. We won’t hesitate to book again in the future.

Cool place we will be booking again at the same house. We had a blast playing cards that were left there on the table. Very cool.little patio to hang out.on when we were outside. We did turn on the wifi but never watched tv. Too busy hanging out. The one thing that got me was the scorpion that stung me in the living room. LoL. But hey texas and Louisiana thats what they do. Ive got them sometimes too at my farm. But yes well.worth the stay. At that Air B & B. I know there are more in that area. But i.would only recommend Brett place. Thank you.for letting my crew stay.

Great views with decently easy access to the water if you wanted to take a kayak. A small basketball and tennis court for entertainment. Stephanie helped us big time and was very responsive when I had questions. Wi-Fi was a little slow but other than that we had a blast.

If you like the lake life and national forest then you well be at home. We live the peace and quiet

Nancy & Shawn have created a wonderful get back to nature experience! From the area,cabin,little touches of homemade soap & tinctures to the lovable loo & outdoor shower which we took midnight showers in…to the peacefulness, it’s a match made in heaven all put together with love by those 2. (We brought our rescue cat & she loved it as well!!). We came as strangers & left as friends. We will definitely return!! Thanks for the hospitality and sharing y’all lil’ piece of paradise with us! This was the second time I have stayed at Danielle’s vacation home for work. She has hosted me and a team of 6-7 other adults both in 2023 and this year (2025), and both experiences were perfect. Fantastic experience. feels like home immediately. Joe was a phenomenal host. he was extremely responsive, kind, caring, responsible, and he finds common ground with everyone. I hope to come back at some point.
