Julie is an outstanding host! This house is perfect for any getaway. It was clean, spacious, well equipped, comfortable, and STUNNING outdoor area with a gorgeous pool. This is 3 FULL baths and 1/2 bath!! Two kitchens! Two family rooms! You had space! It made you want to relax! The kitchen was well stocked with any utensil or appliance you would need. It was private. You could really escape and get away. Woodbury and the surrounding towns were jampacked with things to do. There were many places to choose from to eat. Such a variety from steak, seafood, pizza, and American fare pubs and other specialty restaurants. Lots of variety/antique shops, flea market, wine/liquor stores, convenience stores. Just a short drive into Southbury you find more shops, antiques, restaurants, bigger, grocery store, etc. We also drove to a few other neighboring towns. All under 45 minutes. Friendly people! We had a wonderful time! Price is fabulous, house/outdoor area is A+ value! Thank you Julie!!

The house was very cozy, incredibly clean. View of the river was fantastic. Ned and Sharyn also had helpful notes and labels throughout the house, which I thought was quite kind and helpful!

Terrific stay at Ellen’s lovely cottage. The house is warmly decorated and cozy. Amazing patio with outdoor fireplace and big gas grill. Fully equipped kitchen for gourmet cooking. The bathrooms are new and very clean. Lots of delightful and thoughtful little touches. A great base for exploring the North Fork!

What a lovely place! Kitchen was a pleasure to use. Location was great for wineries and Greenport restaurants/bars. Spacious.

Beautiful place to stay! Stayed for our anniversary and sat by the fire near the lake as the sun set. And went in the hot tub and watched the sun rise over the lake! Very peaceful and relaxing!

Couldn’t have asked for a better place to spend time with our family and enjoy the Litchfield area! Perfectly clean home, beautiful property, stylish and comfortable! We had everything we needed to do some light cooking, Kevin and Jerry quickly answered questions and gave great suggestions. Wish we could have stayed longer!

The Farmhouse was very cozy and clean. Communication was great and Chelsea was very accommodating, as I was traveling with two small children and the schedules can be tricky. The property was beautiful and the house had everything we needed. The only thing that could be improved would be curtains in the bedrooms. As soon as the sun came up you are up. Very bright. But overall I would stay here again.

We spent a beautiful family Christmas at Paul’s place meeting there, Christmas Day with Son, toddler grandson, and 100 pound dog. We arrived an hour early (coming from four states away with the hound) and there was a little tension about getting the code to get into the property but got in at check in time and were greeted by a beautifully kitted out pristine and cozy home at which to spend our Christmas together. The grandson loved toddling around and the dog meandered happily in the fenced in yard. Paul advised us to turn on the gas fireplace, which we did and a lovely time was had by all. There was nothing lacking in the place, bedding and beds were very comfortable, and we are definitely planning to come back for another visit someday. I can’t say enough about Southold in the entire North Fork area. It’s charming, has lots of farms and vineyards and cute boutiques and such but it’s not over built like so many other areas.

The location and comfort can’t be beat. We stayed at the professor’s flat for a full semester while I was teaching at Yale and it was perfect for a couple and a cat. We even had a couple of friends visit and stay over comfortably during that time. We truly lived in the place like it was our home, because it felt like it: it was cozy, and despite a smaller kitchen than we’re used to, it was well equipped, and we were able to cook a lot and even host dinner parties. It’s very conveniently located to everything in New Haven/the East Rock neighborhood & we walked everywhere. Also very convenient to the freeway. A parking spot was included in our rent as well. Remy, Hilary and Sal were always responsive and ready to take care of anything that needed attention. Remy also gave us and all the tenants extras like baked goods, and samples of her great Italian cooking on occasion (around the holidays). They also gave us fire logs for the fireplace we used our entire last month in town.

We had an amazing stay the listing was as described . The host communicated well and was super helpful. Listing was also super clean would definitely come visit again. 😀

Paris is a wonderful host. His property and cottage is a perfect retreat for two. Charming accommodations with a beautiful view and an easy walk to town. We’ll be back soon! Angelo C.

We loved it ! It’s beautiful ! The kids had a great time . It’s clean .. the bathrooms are beautiful both of them . It’s right off the highway and we had no complaints what’s so ever ! Our Christmas stay at Janice’s was perfect! My partner and I needed a place to stay while visiting family for holidays. The suite was very clean and cozy. We really enjoyed the not one but TWO gas fireplaces! Janice also had a small artificial Christmas tree in the living room which made it so festive and the perfect place for us to rest and watch Christmas movies after days with family. The bed was comfortable and had four pillows with extras in the closet along with extra blankets, an iron and board. Janice was flexible with our check in time and very friendly. The only negative we could think of was that we’d love to have a full kitchen and the suite just has a kitchenette with mini fridge, microwave and toaster oven, but we knew that from the description and it was fine for a short stay. We’d love to stay here again. Really perfect for this trip.

My wife and I absolutely loved this cottage. It far exceeded our expectations. I felt so much at home, I almost went out and picked up the mail!There were so many supplies in the kitchen, a thoughtfully laid out living room and bedroom, a heavenly soaking tub in the bathroom, and serene surroundings. Everything was thought of from tasteful decor to plenty of firewood for the wood-burning fireplace and even an unopened toothbrush and other toiletries in the bathroom (including 2-ply!! ) It raised my standard for future rentals. We are lucky enough to travel several times a year. When we do, we almost exclusively stay at Airbnb‘s. This one was by far the most comfortable we’ve stayed at in many years. The whole experience was perfect. There were even fresh flowers to greet me. The location is easy, a beautiful neighborhood that is very quiet and safe. I'm ready to return!

The accommodation was cute and cozy, and very comfortable. I received a renter's handbook of sorts prior to check-in, so all my questions were answered there. Check-in and check-out were a breeze!

We had a wonderful stay! We were eight people - two families traveling with four kids total, and the home was ideal for our group. The heated pool was a highlight—perfectly sized and (upon request) kept at a comfortable temperature, even in late March. The house itself was clean, well-organized, and equipped with everything we needed for a relaxing visit. We especially appreciated how quickly the hosts responded whenever we had questions. The only minor drawback was that the property is located across from a fire station, and occasionally you’ll hear the siren. However, it only lasts a few seconds and didn’t bother us much at all. Overall, we had a fantastic experience and would recommend it and would gladly stay here again!

Natalie is a TEN STAR HOST! Her communication throughout the entire process was second to none. We went to her villa to celebrate my 60th birthday and it had to be one of the best vacations I've ever had. The photos on the website did not do the place justice. When we arrived we were blown away by the scenery and the house was beyond emaculate. The living room with the fireplace was so cozy. I would go back to Natalie's place in a heartbeat! Thank you for everything Natalie!

Mona's home has an incredible energy that instantly makes you feel welcome. Inside, the house is well appointed ensuring every comfort and convenience at your fingertips. The outdoor space is incredibly accommodating, featuring a large, clean pool, a spacious deck, plenty of seating and a barbecue grill perfect for entertaining or relaxing. The garden is a true sanctuary offering a peaceful retreat complete with butterflies, hummingbirds and a serene water element. The caretaker was exceptionally helpful, providing valuable suggestions for things to do, including nearby beaches and places to see the sunset.

Lydia was an excellent host. She communicated all information clearly and kindly. The house was very clean and as described in the ad. We 100% recommend staying here and will definitely be back ourselves. 💯

Our family had a very enjoyable stay! The home and surroundings were beautiful, everything was extremely clean and organized, our host was wonderful! We absolutely loved the tea ceremony! It was very educational! We will definitely stay here again when we return to New Haven!
