Stayed in early March 2025. J and G provided a very comfortable home-like feel in this beautiful location overlooking the beach, which is about a 10-minute walk down the hill. The views out the back window to the east are beautiful, and the central living area is very usable, with a deck attached and plenty of windows to soak in the views. The location is within a 30-minute drive of central Christchurch. We should have stayed longer than two days here!

Wow the view is amazing. The bach feels like home. Very quiet and private. We were lucky enough to have two glorious sunny days. Would love to have stayed longer and will definitely be back. Thanks Lucretia

We had an amazing stay at this place! The accommodations were warm and inviting, and the creative decor made the place feel like a cozy haven. We had private access to the beautiful beach, where we even spotted dolphins! There were plenty of seating options, both indoors and outdoors, and the gardens were so lovely. Meagan was an incredible host, and we would definitely love to stay here again on a future visit.

The location of this home is incredible! Beautiful sunsets, close to penguins and a number of stunning beaches and hikes. Check out the baby fur seals, caves, natural spring, waterfalls and abundant bird life. Piwakawakas at every hike! Garry was very accommodating and responsive. Rent with confidence!

Very clean comfortable home right on the waterfront. Beds were great and home has all that you require and more. Highly recommended and will stay again when in the area.

Fantastische Lage mit super Blick von der Terrasse oberhalb des Oezans. Grill vorhanden, Sonnenuntergang direkt von der Terrasse einmalig. Einrichtung liebevoll und individuell, aber man sollte keinen top modernen Standard erwarten. Für uns aber voll ok, soll keine Kritik sein. Kochgelegenheit mit 2 mobilen Kochplatten, mit denen größere Gerichte etwas Kreativität verlangen. Dafür aber noch Außengrill vorhanden. Kurze, aber steile Auffahrt auf Schotter mit teilweise ausgewaschenen Rinnen. Stellt prinzipiell kein Problem dar, sollte man sich aber zutrauen. Kurze Wege zu den Pancake Rocks und Pororari River Gorge. Wir würden definitiv wieder buchen.

This was a highlight for us. The location is so stunning overlooking the water. The room is clean and sunny. No stove but that was no worries for us - there’s a small fridge, sink, jug etc. Shower was really nice. Check in and out was easy as. Such a perfect spot for a couple to stay a night after getting off the ferry. Sandflies weren’t an issue which is amazing, you can sit outside and enjoy. Thanks for a great stay!!

Worth every penny. It was a beautiful apartment. Comfortable beds. Plenty of amenities and absolutely pristine. Would stay there again. Host was attentive fantastic knowledge sent us a message with loads of choices of things to do before we got there and we used this to plan the trip. Gave us great tips on where to eat and cannot thank them enough. Five star.

The place is exactly like the pictures. super cozy. it has a beautiful view. Close to everything. I had a great night. It was a pity that the swimming competition was canceled and the place is no longer being used. Thank you.

This place was absolutely in the most wonderful setting and walking down the stairs to the expansive sea views was very special. The home is architecturally designed and has a lovely feel to it. What a treat to sit on the deck take in the views of the start of the Abel Tasman national park, then take a dip in the infinity pool and jump into the spa was magical. The pool and spa were very clean. Kitchen had everything needed to make food prep a breeze. Top end appliances make living easy in this stunning home.

Anthea’s place is absolutely beautiful and just as pictured. There were many little extra inclusions which made us feel right at home. So much thought has gone into creating a beautiful place for travellers and we were most grateful to be able to enjoy it. I would highly recommend Anthea’s place and would stay again without a hesitation.

Robynne's home was simply incredible. It was beautiful inside and out, and had plenty to do within walking distance. It being located less than a 5 minute walk from the water taxi was very convenient, and provided a great way to get in and out of Queenstown without having to drive. Robynne was very helpful and provided everything we needed during our trip and was always very quick to respond to questions. The provided house manual included instructions for every appliance in the house, as well as great recommendations for things to do nearby. Her home is a fantastic way to experience Queenstown and I highly recommend it

Beautiful views and plenty of amenities

A wonderful home in a beautiful location with stunning views. We particularly enjoyed the pool, spa and being able to walk to amazing restaurants and wine bar. Sally and Wayne were friendly helpful hosts. Highly recommend staying

We have had the most amazing stay! The apartment is even better than it looks in the photos! View to die for from the enormous balcony, super comfortable beds, high end appliances & friendly accommodating hosts… we don’t want to leave!

Curio Bay is an amazing gem - one of the top places we visited in 3 months in New Zealand. This home is the perfect base, located on the beach, well appointed, wondeerful host, in great shape. Totally recommend this and we will be back!!!!

Cheryl's place is the perfect place for a relaxing break. Lovely walks along the waterfront or just sit back and watch the beautiful views from the whole living area and main bedroom. Only noise you hear is the sea as you are so close. The house is set up with everything you need for a longer stay, I stayed 4 nights. Has many things I did not make use of this time as the evenings were a little cool (but lovely and warm inside - woodburner and heatpump) but next time I will try them out. The bbq, outside fire and huge deck area would be fabulous on a sunny evening. I will definitely be back again.

As described. Only had one night there and the weather was cold and rainy but wish we had more time in Greymouth. The ocean view was fantastic. Beds comfortable. We did cook our own food and the kitchen was well equipped and had everything we needed. No complaints.

Wir waren als Familie zu dritt in dem Haus. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Es ist alles vorhanden, was man braucht. Ganz besonders ist die Lage direkt gegenüber vom Strand und das Ambiente der Einrichtung. Das Team von bookahome war immer für uns erreichbar und hat uns bei allen Fragen weitergeholfen. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Stunning waterfront location - really enjoyed how close it was to Sumner and surrounding cafes. Clean and comfortable.

Would highly recommend this great little spot! We are a family of 4 and it was just perfect! Beautifully and thoughtfully decorated home that felt like home to us for the few days we were there. We loved sitting having meals on the deck and loved the spa pool! Great location too for a short cut walk into Waikawa marina and the Jolly Roger was fantastic! Thankyou for having us, we will be back!

This house is in a stunning location across the road from the beach. We went in March and it was nice and quiet and very peaceful. The house is spacious, very comfortable and warm. Great bathrooms. We really enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend this as a place to stay in Kaka Point.
