Our stay at Fiery Peak eco retreat was just what we needed. We were on a 21 day tour of South Island from the UK. Booked 1 night, primarily to break the driving between Arthur’s Pass and Mount Cook area. Ended up changing itinerary to stay 2 nights… but would have stayed forever!! Beautiful house with every amenity you could want and more. Ambient music, mood lighting and aromatic oil diffusers made for a lovely welcome. The hot tub was such a treat and would be even more amazing under a starry dark sky, but was still fabulous despite the cloud. My absolute favourite thing though was the fresh stream plunge pool… an invigorating yet peaceful, natural space. Everything was considered and provided, such as slippers, bathroom robes, outdoor crocs and towels for the hot tub and plunge pool. The patio sofa with views across the garden and towards the hills made for a relaxing reading spot. Kay checked we had everything we needed and was a very friendly and helpful host. Best stay!

We had a great night with everything we needed. Spacious and airy. Nets on windows which is perfect as like to have windows open and no pesky mosies inside!

Our stay at this beautiful and modern retreat was unforgettable. Thoughtful touches like a bottle of Prosecco and chocolates made us feel welcome from the start. The large windows offered breathtaking views, from a stunning sunrise to a sky full of stars and the Milky Way at night. Though we didn’t use the outdoor bath due to the weather, the provided robes and slippers were a nice touch. With its privacy, comfort, and incredible scenery, this is a perfect spot for a romantic getaway. Plus, it’s just an hour from the Hooker Valley Track—an ideal base for exploring. Highly recommended!

Sean & Jana’s cottage is worth every penny! The photos don’t do it justice. This air bnb was absolutely beautiful and the outside bath tub at night is incredible we had clear nights to star gaze from the tub. I would highly recommend as it was the best place to stay if you’re wanting to visit mount cook and Lake Tekapo. We will be back :)

This is a great place to stay. So comfortable and so private - a short walk to the most amazing beach - all the comforts of home and a hot tub! Amazing sunset views from the comfort of your own veranda. Would highly recommend.

This is such a great find and well worth the money. A little slice of heaven that is still close to lots of other areas, wish we could have stayed longer. Jude was very welcoming and we appreciated them letting us stay at the creekside cabin when it is normally only for one person.

A great place, set in a lovely riverside garden. Very well thought out indoor and outdoor spaces. Spotlessly clean with quality fixtures and fitting. Lots of extras provided, bottle of wine & marshmallows for toasting on the fire pit a great welcome. Unfortunately we arrived on 2 extremely wet days (200mm rain forecast), so didn't get to use the kayaks or outdoor spaces. oh well, maybe next time... Thanks for a lovely stay.

A great spot to stay in Wānaka, located at the back of the property it was private and peaceful even with a number of airbnb’s on the property.

We had a lovely stay at Sana’s cabin. Was the perfect place to unwind after exploring the area. Particularly loved the details; high quality bedding, lovely shower and gorgeous dinnerware. Would highly recommend this place and Sana as a host 😊

Pete's huis is een erg sfeervolle plek. Je verblijft hier niet in een onpersoonlijk huurhuis maar in een echte woning die als snel een thuis wordt. Daar bovenop is het prachtig gelegen met een zicht op de vallei en de achterliggende bergen. Het overdekte terras is een bijkomende troef. Het huis is van alles voorzien wat je nodig hebt en mocht je toch nog iets extra willen, vraag het dan gewoon aan Pete. Hij houdt er duidelijk van om zijn gasten een perfecte ervaring te bezorgen. We zullen ons verblijf in 'Wild Earth' niet licht vergeten. Bedankt Pete om deze plek met anderen te delen.

One of the best stays we have had. Such a gorgeous outlook on the large deck. The cabins are very warm, and beds and linen so comfortable. Everything you could need in the kitchen, all spotless and welcoming. Really enjoyed being there.

Lovely and peaceful stay. We loved the cabin and had a great getaway. Mark helped us with our luggage up to the cabin which we really appreciated! Beautiful place, highly recommend!

We had a fantastic time at the cabin! It’s in a beautiful location and equipped with everything we needed. On our first night, the sky was incredibly clear, and we got to see the most stunning starry night! The cabin was spotless, and all the amenities were well-maintained and of high quality. I would definitely recommend this place!

Stunning spot to take a pause from day to day life! Beautiful, quiet, has all the essentials and more! The sauna and outdoor shower were lush! Great communication and recommendations but ended up spending the whole weekend chilling out at the cabin 😇 will be back 🙌🏼

Had a great stay - the accomodation was well appointed, modern and obviously surrounded by stunning views. Great spot to use as a base for hikes around the area. It was slightly less remote than we anticipated but because of the design of the house, this wasn’t an issue. Would recommend.

Just loved our one night stay at Petes place. Every little detail at this place was well thought. Really appreciate the Zero waste mechanism put in place, the heated floors and centralized heated place. We had a cozy and warm stay. highly recommend if you want to take a night halt at Arthur pass. There are multiple walking tracks around and the drive around Arthur Pass is beautiful.

Peaceful little shack in a quiet neighborhood. Perfect for our week stay in Christchurch. Lesley was very helpful and always responsive. Would definitely stay again.

THE MOST PERFECT LOCATION AND HOSTS!!! Hi Jayne and William. I've had the most fantastic time at your beautiful cabin. The Kayak was special, to be out there alone was beautiful! Sorry I had to leave so quick, I couldn't chance missing the boat. I couldn't book last night as the service had closed. However, as I turned up this morning a boat was just about to leave and I've jumped on! I left a puncture plug on the side. It's for punctures that won't seal. Insert from the inside and snip the excess off. It has a sticky side (remove tape) and use a bit of rubber sealant for a perfect seal. Thank you so much. The best location I've stayed in (34 locations!) I hope to see you again.

Loved our stay at David’s place. Great communication. Such beautiful surroundings - sunflowers, sheep and mountains. We LOVED the log burner, tv, games provided. Thank you
