We loved the cottage. It has everything you need. It’s private and you feel at home. Great to have the BBQ. Excellent location if you are going to Mount Cook. Philippa is full of energy and loves to help her guest. We recommend this AirB&B.

A wonderful well equipped chalet in the heart of Arthur’s Pass Village. It was the perfect place to sit out a storm with the roaring wood burner. Amanda was a great host. She was able to accommodate my last minute request, was always very responsive, and super helpful.

Put simply, if we could give this place six stars, we wouldn't hesitate. For us it was close to perfect, the best bnb we've ever stayed in. The house is beautiful and well equipped, the setting is wonderfully quiet, private and with bush walks right outside. Fantails and Bellbirds visit the garden regularly. If you like NZ nature, this place is for you.

From the moment we step foot on the property the place was phenomenal, quiet setting, very private. We have stayed a lot of places and this place was one of the best ones we've ever stayed at Michelle was a great host. I tried to get them to move out of their own home, but I think they're going to stay there for a while. It's a very quiet magical place "dreamy like" don't even need to leave. If you like places that are off the beaten path, with tranquility and beauty this is the place. Like no other. We are type A people .The heart shaped bread was a nice touch. I forgot to take it with us. Didn't have time to eat it, but it shows you how much these people care. Lots of love and attention was given to this place.

After 9 days on the road this was the perfect place to relax in and to celebrate my birthday. We instantly felt at home in this beautifully designed cabin . Every detail of the inside and outside space was interesting and the finishes everywhere exquisite. We watched extraordinary sunsets each evening then later enjoyed the absolute peace and solitude of the area waking up to breathtaking view through the trees and the promise of all the adventures Wanake had to offer including the flight over Milford Sound which is an absolute must. We awoke early on our final morning to enjoy the apartment until the final second of departure. Megan was THE best host we’ve ever had and staying in her beautiful place totally made my birthday. Noteworthy and remarkable for the place and the view. Loved the accomplished history of the Hillary family and delighted to see the memorabilia incorporated into the decor. The view from house overlooking the lake and the Remarkables Range were mesmerizing and ever changing. We couldn’t wait to sit and just look at the view. Loved everything about the house and it is even better than the pictures. We had everything we needed for a fantastic five night stay especially if you like hiking and don’t mind steep hills. Yvonne was great at communicating with us. Just a super five star place and host!

Fantastic house and location! Very comfy and well designed, just gorgeous. Also close proximity to hiking trails and points of interests within Arthur’s Pass. Would love to visit again! Thank you for having us

This property is in a great location just outside the main are of town but close enough to walk if you want to. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen was pretty well equipped. The laundry facilities were a great help. The sofas were a bit low for us but fairly comfortable. The only downside is that the TV is not a smart TV and the channels available are not very good. The Wi-Fi seemed to work pretty well, although streaming was a bit hit and miss. The verandah was a nice place to sit out on and enjoy a coffee or a drink while enjoying the view. We enjoyed our stay here and would stay again if we were in the area.

A beautiful chalet will greet you. Everything but a dishwasher provided but the driver is the dishwasher anyway. We loved this place. Can thoroughly recommend.
